I whiff a lot on gods with my cannonball sword and tav taco on. This going to change w/ merits or do I just SATACA w/o TP? =X

You miss cannonball a lot or melee swings? Shouldn't be missing cannonball as /THF. You can do it without TP, use a staff + grip.

Everyone misses on Gods, even with capped weapon merits-- This means you are at an even bigger loss with no Sushi to back you up. You might wanna pile on the Acc gear, Accuracy Bonus Trait, and use Warm-Up/Triumphant Roar so you can land hits. If you are using Wing Sword (+1), you also might wanna switch to Beast Slayer, or another high DMG sword so you'll land hits for more than 0 for certain gods (Suzaku and Byakko come to mind).

Or you can do the Staff/Grip method as said above

Ya I have acc gear pretty much piled, and I TP using wing sword thinking that a SATACA TP'd Cannonball will do more. So should I just TP w/ Beastslayer, WS, and then switch to Fire Staff / Mythril Grip +1 for Cannonball? I suppose that'll throw out a Light for people to MB on..provided I can actually land enough hits to get TP to do so.

Personally I don't even bother to melee god's as blue mage. seems pretty pointless to sit in aoe range just so you can have 30tp for your next cball.

I melee stuff like Kirin, but I back the fuck off from things such as Byakko and the ZNM Khimara.

Can always TP on the Dolls/Pots beneath the God-pop area and do at least one 100%+ CASA Cannonball
