So, I've had thief at level 61 for... quite some time, I've just been holding off, so that i can start to work towards the better gear.

I can finally start gearing myself... decently...

I know the majority of my gear that I'll need, If anyone asks, i'll be happy to list out what i intend to melee, and WS in.

But i have more of a main concern... Weapons...

I read the equip guide up top, but its so hard to read, The gear is in random places and gets a little confusing. My question is...

I have 2 Cermet(nq) from my DNC. Can i get by with using these until H.Harpex2 (maybe Harpe gil depending) Or should i be investing in something else in the meantime. I was thinking Dual Corsair's, or I can do a DS Kukri+1 (but they're a lil too pricey still) I dont really know.

Something else I just though of... I dont have access to get the better Haste gear, namely Swift Belt, at the moment, but i'm considering gettin my hands on Bravo's... Would it be worth getting and using these being the only +haste i'll have? or should I wait till I get Swift, and R.Harness, etc...?

It's been a long time since I was that level, but I think your best bet is a Cermet+1 and a Corsair offhand, then H. Harpe x 2. If money is an issue, it's probably a better idea to roll with a Cermet+1 and a slightly inferior offhand than upgrading your offhand and staying with a lack luster main. I leveled through the 60's before the TP floor update or the dagger update when we all used Hornetneedle, so I might be wrong.

It's probably worth it simply because there is crap for good leg eq at that level iirc.
