game is on its way out.

patches have been great but they're being spaced out further and further, leaving the daily players with nothing new or lasting to do. they're also trying to nickle and dime the players through 5-hour expansions, double inventory, instant-airship-- which are all great things, just at this point, people feel like they're being taking advantage of. they've also been banning people for having payment issues, banning people for exploiting a glitch, and rapidly pushing ffxiv details out. between veterans quitting, getting their chars stolen, or getting banned... carbuncle seems to have lost its community. each patch is able to breath life into the game, but unless they announce a new disk expansion, this game doesn't have much longer.

I will stay long enough to finish 4-5 big accomplishments for my character then I'm done myself.

i tried to come back, but like they said, ff did the nickel and dime method which doesn't really work for people who have a brain and a pulse at the same time. I am really looking forward to ff 14 or the new star wars mmo, wow is at the point where either they get it together or its just going to dwindle like most mmo's after a few years.

I've Been great though all around glad to see people still use this site. Seeing all these names i remember wasting years of my life having fun with and skipping class to level with makes me happy. I'd definately come back to ffxi if only i could get all my characters stuff back but i think it's been way to long for them to restore it all. I quit WoW a long time ago shit is to easy and the game just gets worse. Glad to see all the replies though i miss all my old ffxi friends... You can be sure to see me in FFXIV.
