Definitely PC version first. I'm getting a PS3 Slim once I allocate it for my budget in a month or two. XD

My budget is currently held up by funding new parts for another computer.

I was planning on buying a laptop so i could play FFXI @ work but I decided to quit altogether. But i WILL get 1 so I can play XIV @ work..I'm just waiting to see the specs 14 will run on so I can buy the appropriate laptop.

I have a PS3 and a 360 already and I'll be getting the PS3 version for sure...and the 360 version if it ever comes out.

To have all versions will be great Incase any of systems need maintenance...i can just go to another machine.

Asfar as which home version I will play the most...I'll probably play the 360 version if it ever comes out because I'm sure It will have superior graphics to the PS3

Depends. I don't have a PS3 atm, so if my computer will run it (which it may, it can run quite a few high end games very well) then PC without a second thought. However, if my PC won't run it efficiently, I'll take the excuse to buy a PS3 rather than upgrade my PC.

My first choice: the 360 if it ever comes out for that platform.
Else, ye olde PC, assuming I can afford something able to run the game during next year.
Last choice is gonna be the PS3, although buying a consolle exclusively for 1 game looks like a waste of money.

Ima be playing on a ps3 first till i finish college, then make a computer when i get a job... but i might keep a copy for both. have the ps3 in the living room on the big screen, and a PC in the room incase...

I might do this too... my PC should be well enough off to play FFXIV though. Plus, after playing on PC for so long, it would be too hard for me to convert to a controller-ish type deal... I needs ma numeric keypad! But who knows what the controls will be anyway.

PS3, if not to just help further the advancement of console mmo gaming. Gonna pick up XIV along with 2 or 3 other ps3 mmo's slated for release next year
