FUCK, beaten by Vax while typing up a response between doing other things (dishes, lol).

Only other thing to note is Vance/Haka/a few other's 6-hit sets that consist of this to Tp in:

http://www.ffxiah.co...ts.php?id=77700

And either Wsing in normal Ws gear (STP wise) or adding Hachiman Sune-Ate if you use a +7 Acc ring over Ecphoria.

Just going to mention that if you WS in Myochin Haidate +1, you wouldn't have to use Ecphoria in TP or Hachiman Sune-Ate for WS... Forgive me if this has already been mentioned but I didn't see it anywhere

I don't have Myochin Haidate +1, otherwise I would be using it. Maybe I'll make that my next Limbus upgrade.

*The owner of this site claims to have fixed it, but still use caution. The site can be used as a basic guideline but doesn't allow you to input your different TP/WS set STP values.*

Hi ! Just posting to say I updated my tool a few days ago.

You can now select a behavior (WS/TP).
I'm sorry the interface still sucks, when I have time I'll make something nice and ergonomic (unless Final Fantasy XIV gets released before, lol).

Comment/suggestions are more than welcome !

PS: As Vax said, the math for this is easy, *anybody* can do this following this guide. This tool will however help the lazy people and will earn you some time.

FFXICalc works for those who know how to multiply the tp/hit value it gives you based on your Store TP merits/trait/added by 5, and then figure out how much you have to WS in. It's really damn simple.

I'm having some trouble figuring this out, no doubt because it is late and I'm just not thinking as clearly as I could.

From what I can tell, I've got a 7-hit build at level 50 with a 450 Great Katana and my Rajas Ring. With that in mind, is it worth it to invest in Shinimusha Haidate for Great Katana, possibly at some higher level? I can't see that making sense because I'd have to wear stupid shit like Chivalrous Chain (I have Peacock Charm) and Shinimusha Hara-Ate to possibly make a 6-hit build before 70+, but I just want to know if I'm missing something.

It's possible to make a 6-hit at level 50, but it involves using Shinimusha Hara-ate, Rajas, Shinimusha Haidate, and using Carbonara as food. It's clearly not worth it as you can see from having to ditch so much accuracy. I'd just wait until level 70 if I were you.

It's also possible at 60 using the same gear above in combination with Rose Strap, Ecphoria Ring, and Chivalrous chain, but still not worth the sacrifice. Not to mention you'd have to WS in the same gear minus the Ecphoria Ring. That set allows you to use whatever food you like, but I don't think it'd be enough to make up for the difference. Stick with the 7-hit until 70.

edit-

I'm sure you know the set at 70, but in case you were wondering what I might have used, it was Hachiman Kote/Sune-ate, Shinimusha Haidate, and Rajas Ring. Allowed for a pretty good setup overall, while maintaining a lot of accuracy. I was also able to swap in full STR gear, due to only needing 14.5TP from the WS hit to get 100.0 after 5 more swings.

Worrying about level 70 is somewhat pointless. With level sync, I hit 75 while I was 67 on Ranger a couple weeks ago and that's pretty much standard. At best, I could hope for a level 70 capped party on Imps. Either way, I'll just ignore it until 75,

There's points where I just really stop taking those level sync parties, because I like getting skillups once in a while. Unless it's one of those shitty levels, where you have to go fight imps (oh god no, not again). Then it's more along the lines of me begging to fight Lesser Colibri all over again.

I've actually decided to refuse all imp parties. There's no point to suffer in those parties now that there's level sync.
