Every sam should try out polearm in events like this. I find it owns crap in Einherjar. I can say I use Polearm over GKT in most of the shit I do (ie: Salvage Nyzul Einherjar Meripo Limbus Dynamis)

With good gear and buffs you only need GKT on HNM's and for skillchaining really.

ya really is kind of funny that polearm is so good at so much now. it has a ton of potential for lower tier events if buffed right. I am still stuck on what to merit, pl or gkt lol.... just for the fact that I really dont do much hard stuff so i tend to not use gkt much nowadays, but the acc is nice to have from merits.. but again attack does jack and the acc is normally not needed.

I dunno if it's funny, people just didn't realize it had so much potential. and I dont know if the places you can use it at deserve the label 'low tier'. You can use it on basically everything that isn't a HNM. Dynamis Nyzul Limbus Salvage Einherjar Meripo ANNM BCNM KSNM. The only thing it will deffinatly suck on is when you have no good buffs, no war, need to skillchain, or the mob you're fighting is a very high lvl. But if youre fighting in the opposite conditions it will deffinatly wtfpwn Hagun XD

I merited polearm, just bc 1. I dont need 4/4 marksmanship when I fight DI/Odin/Khim with hunters/pot-eu-feu. The ratk doesnt even do anything for my slugs on DI lol.

And took out another 4 in h2h bc 1. It wouldn't lower my weapon DMG, and 2 I'll be capping acc with pizza on anything I use it for anyway. I'm very happy with my 8/8 PA

Actually no, I enjoyed my GK in salvage I used PA where it best preformed for me. Birds and city dynamis.. I didn't have the PA merits to pull it off for outlands.

I salvaged with an Apoc DRK co-tank so yeah, GK threw PA out the window.... omg, the orgasmic dark skillchains we used to pull..... It would have made me SAD to be an Amano owner there SC's were just so fun to me... idk why <3

CATA->GEKKO->CATA GOOOOOO! I wish I could have fraps'd how fast we could take down some of those bosses lol. Especially when I'd 6-step dark at the start and he'd double dark it with a full power CATA haha.

Wish I had my SS's on this PC. Dropping LAC from 100% -> 72%~ from a BRD+Drink buffed 7 step darkness solo was pretty epic lol.

polearm, anywhere, as long as it isn't super evasive, or base resistant to piercing big time

jnun in your jar, probably averaged like 1.3k on them i'm sure, sure as much as they are vulnerable to slashing, they're actually just weak in general
