That looks identical to most of my t3 parses which is why haste+3 acc+7 is far superior to da+2 and why ares legs will still own for an AM build since your tp legs should be homam or haste+3acc+7 legs. On harder events/mobs the acc is even more important.

Maybe only marches and the Carbonara explains it.

I heard they updated the damage equations (again) after I quit, making higher level things take less damage than I was used to, but I haven't really looked into it. (I probably should, considering I'm coming back for a bit...)

Nah, Carbonara will spit out more damage than red curry in the long run, anyway, as per its Store TP. That's why I suggested Arrabbiata, which is basically carbonara but with Red Curry's Attack bonus. It's expensive as hell, though, and only lasts 30 minutes. Mostly I was just teasing you.

Stp is only good if it ups ur xhit if not its going to waste and the HP boost is nice for zergs but in a hard zone or fighting a harder mob the +att will come out on top vs the hp boost.

If that was from the run where we got bones, remember that you probably spent some that wave blinded, which could account for the uncapped accuracy.

That's glaringly obvious. I highly doubt he was using carbonara for its paltry attack boost or HP bonus...

Then he needs to fix his gear.

If the guy has an Apoc and can't 6hit without food then I feel sorry for his Scythe....

That depends on whether or not he's getting SAM roll. See: UNCTCGCGTRI-can-never-remember-his-proper-letter-orderCTTTCGRTCG's comments on the matter of full haste, Store TP builds with Catastrophe.

I feel sorry for his scythe when everyone who doesn't own it are making blasé assumptions about his setup.

True 6hit for an Apoc is 21 sTP, which is /SAM + Rajas + Brutal. Unless I missed the bit where he was /nin, he has no excuse for not 6hitting his Apoc. And if a Apoc DRK can't (or won't) get Rajas and Brutal then I feel sorry for his scythe.

If he is /NIN then striving for a 6hit is a futile and unproductive endeavour (unless you are getting SAM roll). As /nin he can 7 hit with just Rajas.

I am unsure what haste has to do with sTP. The only slot where the choice is haste or sTP is the second ring slot (1 haste vs 1 sTP), but you shouldn't need that ring slot for sTP any way.

The only other thing I can think you are referring to is sword strap and then eating sTP food to regain the 6hit? That isn't something I have ever worked out, but I am not sure it would beat Pole grip + real food. If that is what you are talking about then I will give it a quick run through and see how the two sets compare.

So there wasn't anything Blase about what I said.

I think firefeng wasn't talking about 6 hitting apoc...if you check UNCTGT posts he talks about 4 hitting his scythe...I could be wrong but this is the idea I got ^^

Yes. But the true question being roll of 11 only or roll of 2 as well.. the rabbit hole gets deeper.

Its UNC = Univ. of North Carolina TGTG = Theta Gamma x2 So now u are set with that.

Yes you need Sam Roll to reach a 4 hit build, using Carb, Carb+1 etc, and stacking store TP on, with lots of haste...

You can maintain a 71.6% haste, with brd and haste spell, cata haste, gear haste, hasso.... and have a 4 hit build if the cor hits certain rolls.

Can the cor do it ever time NO, but with that set up you will be tanking, and don't even think that it would make us an MP sponge.

Now you can say it requires a lot of support, yes it does, but I have a personal brd and cor (af2 hat) that never merit without me. Like I tell other players and apoc owners find what fits your play style. This is my style, use it if you like, if not develop your own.

Edit: and if you are /nin on anything outside of AOE spamming HNMs you need to just quit ;)

Edit x2: I'm tired I'm going back to watching the Cool CSs in FFXIII and waiting on the stupid Alpha files to be posted so I can get into that already....

Edit x3: If a Fulltime drk isn't using Brutal/Rajas he needs to quite..(unless they are working on sea)

Editx4: Chris you been watching Alice and Wonderland again?

how does this sound?

apoc
pole grip
ares mask
justice torque
brutal earring
abyssal earring
adamanberk
dusk+1 hands
ragas ring
toreador ring
foragers (cerb+1)
speed belt
blizter poleyn (hast3, DA2)
homam feet

key stats:

haste 16% (10% apoc)
da 6%

It would probably be worth switching Homam Feet for Aurum feet and using Blitz ring to keep your 16% haste.

You lose 6 acc but gain 5 attack and about 1% crit rate (depending on dDEX). With Ares mask (+12 acc) you should be higher than your normal (read: non-aftermath) TP build.

But it all depends on the amount of accuracy need though
