Basically they said they found it in Panama city, a couple kids were playing in the creek and it was coming towards them. They threw rocks at it and killed it, then threw it in the creek, came back later and took photos.. seems a bit sketchy to me, but I dunno.. they found something sorta similar near long island or something in NY once, but when they found it, it was dead. They're in the process of trying to identify it.

Looks like a hoax. There's a cryptozoological hoax every few months and South America is a favorite spot because people there still believe in Jesus, so they'll believe anything.

That's not to say there aren't undiscovered species still hanging around, but the way that looks, I'm not buying it.

That didn't even look real. Not to mention, if you kill something with rocks, surely it's going to have clear signs of that? Didn't look like it had rocks thrown at it, or thrown into a creek.
