Ok so I've recently decided to level cor and i've been doing alot of reading about it here on the cor forums. I made sure to read the stickies before making this post and i know this is a noobish question but w/e, i didn't see anything about it.

Is Hotshot as good as it gets till slugshot? I recently got sniper shot (told ya i just started leveling >.> ) and it seem's pretty meh to me, or am i just doing it wrong >.>

I stuck to Hot Shot til Slugshot so yeah. Don't have much of a choice til then.

I used split.. hardly matters what you use ><

and some nasty ones in east ron 200+

You may be better off using a dagger WS til you get slug, marksmanship WS are pretty bleh at low lvls.

I ended up using cyclone half the time cause it did the same damage but wouldn't miss.

dont do that on birds, i was exping on birds and this should not apply on them.

they have a wind def, there is no way that can be true on them, the cabri mobs.

Before you get archer's knife, fast blade will out-do any dagger ws, and from what I've seen, be a lot more accurate than hot/split shot

shooting pre 23 is not worth it at all so ya def use fast blade

past that i think it is a judgment call

when did you stop using fast blade?

Shooting pre-23 doesn't apply to people like it use to. There are decent bullets available pre-22 now (I think around lvl 10) and several easy to get guns with decent damage. No reason not to shoot earlier now.

And after archer's, your best bet is to pretty much do whatever you feel like until Slug Shot, because nothing is going to be fantastic.
