People in my Legion on Ariel say Assassins are very good, and PvP/Endgame are great. I had my first few PvP battles, first was against a friend who was also a 21 Chanter at the time, tied the first match then lost the second cause I ran out of MP. lol Then had two matches against a ranger and won both. Last night we found a rift opening to the Elyos world, so we built up an alliance and raided the place. It was freaking fun as hell. lol Just ran in through their world and raped every living creature, player and mob alike. I have SS's I'll post later, but it was freakin' awesome. lol

Took me some getting used to as well, but now I like it. Only thing that bugs me is adjusting the camera angles constantly. lol One thing I like about the game, too, is the name freedom.. I've seen some crazy names like Deadhooker and something else with whore in it, I forget the name.. Mightve been a legion called Loot whores. Theres a legion out there called "I Crit My Pants", too, which made me giggle. And "Fat Kids Lag IRL". lol

As much as it reminds me of WoW (which I hated), I still want to play it. I just don't want to buy it though, because I'm trying to wait patiently for FFXIV.

Gonna make the push to 50 this week. :x
Also, Assassins ARE pretty awesome. I was going to make one originally but I decided to stick with my main from XI. My friend made one and all he's been doing recently is chillin' in Belusan and ganking people that run by all day, he went from rank 9 to rank 4 in a couple days lol.

Assassins are really nice, but are really hard to get as effective as Rangers or Sorcs until at least 34. Group PvP, as long as the levels are pretty consistant, are really nice to be in as a sin. Bind/Pain for lulz!

I was stoked for this game prior to its release in Sept. I got discouraged though cause I realized it was abit -too- PvP focused. I'm competitve, so I'm told, but I generally just dont like being ganked lol Do you guys focus on the PvP element alot, or is there more questing/PvE available than what I might be aware of?

There is a lot of grinding to do and a lot of quests to help you get there, i really don't like getting ganked by3-5 Elyos wile i am in my own territory leveling. Right when i play i feel like i play with more bots than players. Like 60% of people bot and more than 80% buy game money... It is ridiculous. When you look at items on the auction house past level30 there is a huge price jump. The crafting system is getting more and more frustrating with prices being sky high, needed to high quality craft all the time and some materials being very rare.

Hey man i am a spoiled Odin player. No rmt at all on the server and FFxi doesn't have bots running around 24/7 running in circles leveling up. The boting problem in Aion is soo big that bots outnumber actual players. If you look at the Aion forums people tend to discus where bots are so they can go kill them for PvP points.

I'd go to Morheim/Belusian more often to do that, too... if asmodian zones weren't full of bottlenecks and guard pats in narrow passages. You asmos can complain about Eracus Temple and Kyola Temple all you want, at least you have almost full reign in Eltnen.

The botting problem isn't nearly as bad as it was before. They've banned a lot of them already and will continue to do so. As for Kinah, I would recommend just leveling up. The amount of Kinah you get from just leveling after you hit 40+ spikes up exponentially. 5 million Kinah is alot to a level 30, but at level 50 I can probably make that in a couple days of just farming casually, if I get somewhat lucky with drops.
