New NMs are pretty neat; after they level up enough, they have actual "auras" that produce a status effect on you and go away when you are far enough away. So it's not en-silence, it's a silence aura.
They also have permanent spikes/buffs of their element: Blaze Spikes, Shock Spikes, Ice Spikes, Blink, Stoneskin
Also they seem to get special effects on their weaponskills after 25% - the Elvaan got endoom on his Pentathrusts after SpiritSurge.
And drop rate on weapons is not 100% btw, and the drop rate on the feet are definitely crappy.
Info at BG thread, starting page 19, when we went around trying to kill all of them (we timed out on the Galka, our first fight, trying to figure out his healing trick)

EDIT: We did the Mithra again, no feet but the dagger dropped. It's called Edgeless Knife.

That is really helpful information Gred ^^. I wish my LS had the drive to do these right now
though I can't blame them I guess.
Someone posted that stun works--so a possible zerg? How hard is it fighting it the traditional way? How much harder is it at lower hp %?

Zergability varies depends on the mobs. The Mithra maybe you can do, but mobs all counter magic with an instant Tier IV of their element like Gulool JaJa, so you'd need two stunners in rotation to keep her perma-stunned The Galka in particular can't be zerged because while he counter-casts he gets a Lambton Worm aura that converts damage taken into damage healed . The Taru starts casting breakga once he two hours. KClubs need a lot of heals because Bloodweapon doesn't work on fomors of course.
Your dmg will drop as they level up, which ironically, I think is linked to spells cast on them. She also gets a permanent triple attack (along with her dual wield) at some point and will start owning faces
