I want to make some gear sets for my jump attacks and I'm looking for some suggestions. If there is another post on this already that you may know about, plz direct me. I know that VIT is the mod ifier, but there is a lot of other gear out there that either enhances or gives TP bonus. Please share your results. thank you.

Personally I use these sets jump:
input /equip legs "Barone Cosciales"
input /equip head "Hecatomb Cap"
input /equip waist "Wyrm Belt"
input /equip hands "Ares's Gauntlets"
input /equip neck "Love Torque"
input /equip body "Ares's Cuirass"
input /equip back "Cuchulain's Mantle"
input /equip feet "Drn. Greaves +1"
input /equip Ammo "Olibanum Sachet"
input /equip ring1 "Iota ring"
input /equip ring2 "Rajas ring"
input /equip ear2 "Brutal Earring"
input /equip ear1 "Assault Earring"
Barone to keep 6-hit rest to max dmg and acc.
High Jump:
input /equip legs "Wyrm Brais"
input /equip head "Hecatomb Cap"
input /equip waist "Wyrm Belt"
input /equip hands "Ares's Gauntlets"
input /equip neck "Love Torque"
input /equip body "Barone Corazza"

input /equip Ammo "Olibanum Sachet"
input /equip ring1 "Iota ring"
input /equip ring2 "Rajas ring"
input /equip ear2 "Brutal Earring"
input /equip ear1 "Assault Earring"
Again Barone to keep 6-hit; and then max acc mostly beside head.

Do you use wyrm brais in high jump for the assumed attack bonus they give like drachen greaves? And if so do you know of any tests to show they give an attack bonus?
After I tested the brais for their hate loss I did around 55 high jumps with and without the brais and there was no immediate difference between averages. Of course 55 or so isn't enough to call anything conclusive and I got bored before I decided to go any further but it's still a bigger test than any I've seen (i.e. zero tests done) so I'm wondering if you've got some evidence for it.

Haven't seen any testing just same place that was source on BG for AF boots' attack effect listed them as giving attack increase too; so took it to be correct since it had plenty of other accurate info. What mobs did you do the HJ test on?

Lesser colibri just outside whitegate, using only high jumps they didn't last long but I made sure to note which level they were by checking how much exp was given. I didn't lump them all together anyway even though it seems like 3 of the birds were the same level, I kept them separate. It ranges from brais giving 21 more damage average than without to brais giving 23 damage less than without. It was starting to look good at the start until I got that result then I gave up.
I used to just take the book as being correct since it was correct about the feet and other things like you said, but on my LS forums a few months ago I told someone to use the wyrm brais for the attack bonus and they thought the brais only shed hate. I got tired of high jump being associated with rumors that were never tested so I checked if the brais shed more hate and they do, from 50% to 60%, which is a bit more than the random "33% to 50%" that was thrown around for years. I read that 10% attack would give simply +10% damage on anything less than even match... I think. I can't remember, but it was the same method used to confirm drachen greaves gave 10%, even though that was a lower sample than what I did for high jump. You could still see a big difference. The first set I did gave 11% more damage so it was starting to look good but like I said at the end I got 11% less with the brais on. After that I just started to use hecatomb sub instead but I didn't bother to make any threads about it because I knew the sample size was too small. I don't know what the general consensus on wyrm brais are but I'd hold off on using them if you're trying to maximize damage personally.

Attack+10% doesn't simply add +10% damage. Calculations take the ratio of your attack / monster's defense with a penalty of -0.05 for every level you are under the monster's level with a cap of somewhere between 2.0 and 2.4 (experts are currently looking for the caps). This value is pDIF. Attack+10% will have varying results depending on your current attack including gear, food, and buffs. The rest is determined by the monster's defense. A high-level monster with high defense will require much more attack to reach your pDIF cap than lower level monsters with low or moderate defense.
That said, here are my sets:
<set Name="Jump">
<ammo>Bibiki Seashell</ammo>
<head>Hecatomb Cap</head>
<neck>Love Torque</neck>
<lear>Assault Earring</lear>
<rear>Brutal Earring</rear>
<body>Ares's Cuirass</body>
<hands>Hecatomb Mittens</hands>
<lring>Rajas Ring</lring>
<rring>Iota Ring</rring>
<back>Forager's Mantle</back>
<waist>Wyrm Belt</waist>
<legs>Aurum Cuisses</legs>
<feet>Drn. Greaves +1</feet>
</set>
<set Name="High Jump">
<ammo>Tiphia Sting</ammo>
<head>Hecatomb Cap</head>
<neck>Love Torque</neck>
<lear>Assault Earring</lear>
<rear>Brutal Earring</rear>
<body>Aurum Cuirass</body>
<hands>Hecatomb Mittens</hands>
<lring>Rajas Ring</lring>
<rring>Toreador's Ring</rring>
<back>Forager's Mantle</back>
<waist>Wyrm Belt</waist>
<legs>Wyrm Brais +1</legs>
<feet>Ares's Sollerets</feet>
</set>
I would use Ares' Gauntlets for both sets instead if I had them. I'm on the fence regarding Ares' Mask vs. Hecatomb Cap. Black Tathlum on High Jump and Cerberus Mantle +1 on both would be the last upgrade.

Like I said I heard it was only on low level monsters where level correction wasn't in place, if that's wrong then I'll look again but I was never under any assumption that +10% attack would add +10% damage on everything. pDIF is going to be capped on something that low and I was taking into account the variations.

gear question for jump, would askar helm and fortitude torque increase jump damage more than hecatomb cap and love torque?

As far as colibri goes, I can get capped crit rate from 117 dex on my drakesbane build. Jumps can crit, no? Would i be better off going for the traditional VIT + STR build or would capped crit rate be something worth looking into (Also have capped acc in my drakes set as well). With af feet, the jump build would actually have 114 dex, but the high jump build would have 117.
Worthwhile?

Get HQ feet for +5 dex and drop some dex else where, and while no parse with similar buffs for one vs other I think a dex set for both should do well. I'd like give you some of my averages to compare to, but for some reason my logs won't load on my parse, and my exports only show total skill damage not average.

The only prob though is to keep my dex cap w/o dropping 5m on zhak, i lose 8 vit. I wonder how the capped crit rate will compare w/ the 2 base dmg lost. high jump since no vit mod though, wouldn't share the same problem.

It doesn't lower my xhit, so I never saw the reason tbh.
For example. hit hit hit hit hit hit for 100 tp
hit hit hit hit hit jump for 100 tp
Jump tp bonus gear won't make me go to
hit hit hit hit jump for 100 tp.

Would black tath be better for jump than seashell since it has acc and att or should I start carrying shell around with me?

I'd say it depends on your jump acc. If your acc is uncapped, bibiki would have to add over 2% to your jump damage to match its average damage (but even then would get less average TP over time).

I used to use Jump TP gear...when I had both a Conte Corazza and Conte Cosciales. Now, I just use regular WS gear for my Jumps.

just recently obtained homam corazza and it rocks for Jumps, love getting 51% TP on one jump/high jump.

lol I remember when this corazza first came out. It was all the rage. And now it's been brought down to a Jump piece
