so, my work encourages me to play ds inbetween calls, and, honestly, a game like new super mario bros isnt exactly the easiest thing to play when your available time to play it, is like less then a minute at a time >.>
so i was wondering about some good ds rpg's, i asked on another forum to little help, other then a list of....
Suikoden Tierkreis
Etrian Odyssey 2
Dragon Quest 5
Final Fantasy 4
Mega Man Star Force 3
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor (Turn based strategy)
now, i already own ff4, and i hate battle network games (aka, that megaman star force game)
i looked into the other ones, and tbh...they dont really pique my interest that much other then shin, and besides, the other two seem a bit niche/old, so i dont think that the bigger stores will have em, and i also dont know if microplay would have em -.-;;
at this time, im kinda leaning towards that kingdom hearts game on the ds, or fire emblem, but other suggestions would be welcome
good ds rpg's (im lookin for some >.>)

chrono trigger, disgaea, valkyrie profile
would say to get the world ends with you, but that'd take a lot of concentration and definitely more than a minute of your time

So how exactly is an RPG, which by it's definition will take longer and more concentration than NSMB, supposed to be the solution to your problem? It seems like you should be looking for puzzle/action games.
But, I will humor you. People have raved about The World Ends With You. And Kingdom Hearts: 356/2 Days has gotten decent reviews. FFIII and FFIV are decent. And Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is pretty awesome as well.

lol i do nintendo tech support, hence why they say its alright for me to play ds >.>
but yeah, nsmb has a timer, it'd be easier for me to do turn based games cuz i can just close it (as long as the bloody thing didnt have active time battles....), and besides, i read a book too, sometimes i'll be reading/playing while im in the middle of a call if its an easy one >.>

What...? Are you new at Nintendo tech support? Or are you just slow on the take? When you close the system, it suspends all game play, including the time.
Besides, you can press the "Start" button if you're so worried.

Get the GBA version of FF V.
The bad guy is an evil tree.
You see why you have to play this.

Calculatingly deep. Most people will either find themselves immediately discouraged by its depth and intricacy, or in love with it. I will say this, though, the DS's small screens don't do the game justice causing me to be unable to touch where I intended.

Kingdom Hearts for the DS is pretty good if you also like the Adventure aspet in your RPG's.
Also, we have Dragon Quest 9 and Golden Sun DS to look forward. to.
