Wulgaru...

Everything was going lovely until my shots started to get resisted. I've got a fairly decent quick draw set...no accuracy merits yet but +34 AGI and warlock's roll. It was even watersday. I was /NIN because I'd never fought the mob before and figured better safe than sorry. Wiki said rage timer was 90 minutes, but after 60 minutes I fired off about 10 shots and never hit above 35. I zoned hoping to reset rage timer, but by the time I got back it was 100% again and my water card supply (and patience) was dry. Long story short, I guess either 1) quick draw accuracy merits or 2) /BLM is required. Wish someone would've mentioned it before I wasted the zeni. ><

When they start resisting best thing to do is keep kiting them until they lose aggro and stay at a far enough distance where you won't aggro them, but can claim them with QD. After they regen a tick QD them again and it should be fine.

Also once you get used to it /RDM is more effective. Bio II, Blink, Stoneskin, Cures, etc. You won't have MAB 2 but it's still helpful.

This i dont understand.... As a cor landing Bio II for long or it doing any worthwhile dmg is well, low and probably not as worthwhile as MaB 2... Why do you need blink and SS when you shouldnt be getting hit at all? If you need the cure because you mess up and get hit (i understand that, happens to me alot when im switching music or something lol) just pop a dnc roll... Not meaning to be like "omg ur way is wrong my way is right!" But all my solo's i /blm with no problems. I just cant see /rdm outdoing it

Of course its your money and i cant tell you how to play ><; i hate doing this cuz i feel like a troll lol, but yea please comment on any flaws in my logic

@ OP get QD acc merits, their sexier than sex, for most my solo's i have about half ur AGI and dont really have issues with resists

Blink/Stoneskin is more of a "just to be safe" type of thing. Like if you lag and you swap equipment before QD and get locked in the animation. It's a rare thing but it does happen.

Blink and stoneskin is a nice thing.. for the initial three (or five.. I forget) minutes it's on. But how often during a solo do you have time to cast stoneskin or blink? I had a fun enough time getting Bio II off and not getting hit (I did eventually perfect the timing). I have to go with Nath here.. I've only ever used /blm while soloing and I did a lot of soloing (Despot, Dea, T3 Mamool, etc.) and just pop a Dnc roll when needed. Out of the 100-150 solos (if not more) I have died all of zero times.. minus having to die on T3 ZNMs when I rage them. :(

Unless you have some concrete evidence that Macc does or doesn't effect Quick Draw, its kinda rude to go about saying that. Completely unnecessary shot to a fellow COR whos only asking for help...

Agreed.. was pointless calling him a noob. If you don't need the regen while soloing (which on Wulgaru you should NEVER need it..) then your only roll you need is Wizards.. so why not throw up warlocks? Everyone "disputes" that it doesn't affect quick draw.. but for hardcore Cor such as myself (before I quit) we know better.
