Since this isn't considered Frontpage news I'll post it here:

Beginning today, we will be launching a new support site called the "SQUARE ENIX Support Center." With this integrated support site, our goal is to provide up-to-date news on all SQUARE ENIX products, resolve our customer's issues even faster, and provide detailed support information, all in the easiest way possible.

If you encounter any issues with our products or services, please contact us through the "SQUARE ENIX Support Center" and we will work to provide the best solution or forward your request to the appropriate support team. Using the new service, customers will be able to contact us through phone, email, and web chat.

With our new service, we expect the Game Masters (GM) to be able to handle urgent in-game issues even faster. Also, depending on your inquiry, we will work to provide quick solutions via help desk messages. Please understand that depending on the level of congestion, replies may take longer than usual.

Additionally, after the maintenance which will occur on Oct. 8, 2009 from 2:00 to 2:30 (PDT), the number of calls that the GMs must process before yours will show as zero, regardless of how many calls there actually may be.
* We are planning to remove the number of proceeding calls with the next version update.

From here on, please send all inquiries through the "SQUARE ENIX Support Center" or through the in-game GM petition service.


Hopefully they'll provide good service now....

Well a lot of people had no faith in the STF when they first came around, and after their first few rounds of bans that changed people's minds very fast.

And why do you think they didn't have any faith in the STF in the first place? Placing faith in SE's customer service is like placing faith in a mule in a horse race.

None the less, I see you're point. Miracles do happen. Guess we'll wait and see.

it is the other way around, i had hope they would start getting better and just got worse

same run around, same "enter the info here with the * next to it so we can ask you for it again in chat. The same tone of " we don't care about you" the same ask a different rep, get a different replay.

the only difference now then before is that you spend more time clicking on stuff that does not matter to get to chat.

the only plus is that they will replay to feedbacks

I tried yesterday.

The support center has NO live support. I have been chasing with the website until I've found out their phone number from my friend. I made an international call for 24 mins for nothing. The only thing I can figure out from the officer is, there is NO live support on the NA support center website.

thats not true, since my acount got hacked i've visited that site twice, once to have the password on my acount reset and another to request a game data recovery. both times i was able to do live chats with SE reps, i think only certain things on the site allow live support, some of topics i looked through on that site only gave the option of e-mail support, others gave the choice of e-mail, live chat, or phone assistance.
