If you have the highest ranking, you might want to save your AN for the big November update just in case something useful gets added.

But if you have enough AN or nothing better to spend it on, why not?

The HP necklace will be very impressive for tanking. Also, you can spam cure yourself equiping on/off the necklace as you wait for a wave to arrive.

I wouldnt say you'd have more fun because of campaign effect gears. If you die quite a bit maybe put some gil into a -damage taken set and use it primarily for campaign.

The -10% physical damage ring (Patronus Ring) isn't bad for tanking. If you have to rest for MP and use a staff, the Ariesian Grip is very nice. There are a few others that might be worth investing in like the VIT (Shield Collar) or STR (Bull Necklace) neck items, but none of them will have a huge impact on your xp/hour from Campaign. You won't suddenly become a Campaign God. lol

And there's also the storage issue, as they're all EX. :( But if you have the inventory space and the allied notes, go for it. And don't forget you have to macro all that crap in somehow. XD

I really hope they add some storage for some of this stuff, I have tons of notes and wouldn't mind buying some of the armor sets but lack of storage is a major issue.

I don't really see them adding too many more useful AN items, but for some reason I do almost expect them to add some nearly worthless e-peen fashion armor or furnishing for 1 million notes after you beat the storyline for that nation. lol

would be nice if as a final reward they gave an item that triggered the campaign effects on AN gear, outside of campaign. Would definately be a large upgrade in terms of equipment overall for pretty much every job. Make it an earring or something.
