In the latest "last" cutscene for WotG one can see that Lady Lilith now has a 4th spirit warden. FFXIcylopedia thinks that it is Robel-Akbel. Any thoughts on who else the taru spirit warden could be? Because I think it would be quite odd to have only the Windurstian leader defect. Additionally who else thinks this is going to be a replay of the Arch Angels fight?

Do you have a screenshot of this 4th? I've been hearing this for awhile but I never remember seeing a 4th.
Robel is very likely to be it after you complete "The Forbidden Path" so we'll see how it plays out.

the resemblance is uncanny right down to robels signature stance. could very well be a rehashing of the aa fights coming up.
i am still wondering if we will have to fight shadow versions of ourselves eventually as well.

spoilers...
Yeah it definitly looks like robel-akbel it shocked me when I saw but he always kinda had a dark side (like when he killed that person for messing up) windurst is in trouble lol. Hope they add the fenrir scene with fenrir showing up to kill all those yagudo I dunno if it happened or not already, tavnazia being blown up was kinda lame though.

Below is a video, which at 8:49-8:54 you can find the shots of the 4th spirit warden. I really hope that it isn't Robel, after all he is like the only normal speaking taru in game. Additionally the fact that he is a leader kinda brings to question, Why only Windurst if it is him? In hindsight one can analyze it from the view of an older expansion. For Zilart there two bosses who were originally a Jeunoan official, well Kamlanaut was and I guess Elda'narche was kind of his consort/aid. ToAU had Raubahn and Razfahd both of whom were officials in the imperial court. So while it is not entirely awkard to fight leaders, it is still weird seeing as we have yet to face leaders of the 3 main nations.

considering that every taru NPC and their grandmother has said that mr. mummy taru is in no way like the Robel-Akbel they knew from prior years... I'd say odds are good that ain't really him. hi2u spite warden.

Actually Aeon, there is a campaign NPC that I noticed that talks proper to. I forgot his name but it's that BLM with the red sunglasses w/ morrigans robe.

I'm not talking about the way they speak, I'm talking about specific plot points in the windy quest line.
Everyone that knew the old Robel-Akbel is scratching their head going "wtf?" (even Shantotto.)
Goes from being a kind, weak, gentle little taru, disappears a few years, comes back cold, merciless executioner.
Bit of a 360 turn around ain't it? Cue the always vague glimpse of him chillin' w/ Lillith and her crew and all of a sudden the pieces fall into place. The only kink in that theory is how mr. Male Mithra fits in @ this point. But that's up for SE to decide I would guess.

There are a couple of possibilities surrounding the dual nature of Robel. Seeing as this expansion is poised upon time travel there is the possibility that Robel died on that fateful day and was replaced by a replica puppet of Lillith. It wouldn't be the first time a puppet of this sort was used in the game (Kamlanaut). Alternatively it is quite possible that Robel has fallen under the sway of Lillith and needs to be snapped out of it to return to normal. Additionally there is still the vague chance that it isn't Robel at all and that it's just a look a like. As far as the male mithra goes, there is no mithra Spitewarden yet so maybe he and Robel are in it together. They are definitely both out of place in Windurst so maybe they are just agents for Lillith. But then that brings to question, why Windurst?

I think what he ment is Kamu's brother, Eald'Narche didn't give a damn for his cries for help after we sent his ass packing.
Anyway, for another theory...

I meant that Elda'narche had Kamlanaut completely under his control. Though it is not physically the same as a replica puppet, the result is the same as Kamlanaut never really acted alone. His brother always was pulling his strings in one way or another. As far as the dat file goes, who knows as we are still potentially a week from seeing anything. If you find out the dat files location though let me know, I'd like to see.

I'm fairly certain it is indeed Robkel. It seems more unlikely that they pull a fast one than it actually being him. Not to mention it's a great way to add a little more intrigue to the story. Anyone who's done any windurst nation quests would know that he's plotting something, good or bad.
