why bother using them to make homam pants with a couple more acc when you can use them to make a pretty damn nice drakes/jump piece. get DA+2% and crit damage +3%

besides these look like generic leg armor and homam pants are freaking sexy red board shorts

I really hope the DA and Crit suggestion was a joke.

Even the "Homam twin" would perform on par or BETTER than those for WS. Not to mention Askar Dirs, Aurum Sabatons, Are's Cuisses, Hecatomb Subligar, Conte Cosciales.. The list goes on.

I don't know.. 10 bucks for ACC+4 and shitty looking pants :/? DRG could get capped ACC easily without this extra +4. It's great for those Homam-less DRGs but for me it isn't worth it.

Edit: Even if the "conserve tp" was store tp.. with /SAM, Aurum(+7), Fork(+3), Rose(+4), ASALegs(+5), Rajas(+5), Ech(+1), Brutal(+1), White T(+2), Chiv(+1) and Carbonara(+6) we'll get 19.9TP/hit.. 1 sTP away from 5hit build.

if you really want the 5 hit, then just bite the back piece bullet and add in a bushido cape

i would probably do +7 att and 2% double attack

brutal(5)+askar(2)+pole(2)+ASAlegs(2)+VFolk(3)= 14% double attack

even without vfork, you would have more double attack then /war, which sounds juicy to me

This is what I plan to do. My acc on Dragoon is capped/fine in most situations and that extra 2% Double Attack would give me 12% total. V. Fork, Brutal Earring, Pole Grip, plus new legs.

Additionally for me on a personal note, they'd be good TP legs for my Drk as well (and my Sam and War because I currently lack Byakko's Haidate)

I won't argue about DRG, as it has ACC JT's, but DA+2% and Haste+3% is a relatively dumb choice for SAM and DRK. It's a lot easier to not be capped than people seem to make it out to me. Actually, I'm gambling you only think your DRG is capped, even. Are you actually certain of this? But no matter. (It's not overly hard to cap DRG, but most people exaggerate how easy it is and fall below.)

Personally I am doing movement speed +8/-4% Physical damage taken cause I'd get more use out of that than worse ws piece than ares, or slightly better legs[and uglier] than homam legs, for my jobs.

I normally use my Dragoon for meriting (on birds), Dynamis, and Einherjar. In Dynamis it's not hard to cap accuracy on the majority of mobs and in Einherjar I always have 6 songs (bard rotation) and in merit parties birds are a joke and easy to cap accuracy on. So to answer your question, yes I'm sure that I'm capping my accuracy. If gambling is a hobby for you, don't quit your day job >.>

For Samurai and Warrior you could be right; however, I don't have Byakko's Haidate as I mentioned before and in appropriate situations 3% haste and 2% double attack would be quite beneficial for both those jobs. They're not main end game jobs for me so I wouldn't be using them in situations where I need an exceptional amount of accuracy. They're jobs that I simply play for fun but don't use often due to having an incomplete tp build.

If my math is correct, you're 7 acc short of capped acc on lvl 82 birds. You would make use of all 4 acc which does the same as DA+2% would, provided you have absolutely no other sources of DA, which you do.

And the stronger the monster, the more beneficial the effect the ACC has in comparison to the DA.

EDIT: Well, if you're riding Hasso, I suppose the acc wouldn't mean shit. Stills tands, the Haste + DA is a niche peice, and the Haste + ACC is an all purpose peice. Not to mention, the +4 acc could eaily make room for say, woodsman ring -> blitz ring. Which WOULD beat DA+2% hands down.

Yeah, I would be using Hasso (which would be another +10 acc), not to mention I didn't factor in the accuracy I gain from Dex (unless you factored that in yourself which is a mere +16 Dex [not counting base...] or... +12 accuracy). I actually *do* have a blitz ring and what you said holds merits but if I'm gonna go with haste and acc then i might as well just stick with homam pants and change iota > blitz :/

Hasso's only 5 ACC on a sub job.

On another note, my ACC is close to capped most of the time on the things that I use DRG for, (soloing, campaign, ZNMs, dynamis, merits), so I will probably go for the DA over ACC. Make a nice addition to my PLD's arsenal as well for the most part, however I'll probably be changing them into SAM movement speed when I get homam anyway.
