Well, I have come across a friend of mine that recently wanted to start up summoner, however he is having a delimma:

He is trying to get all the items for his Evoker Ring before he hits 75. And from my knowledge from tossing out my Garuda's Dagger back in the day, I figured out/thought/still think tothis day, there is no way I can get it back. I redid the battle, and still no G.Dagger, nor Bow from Ifrit has been given to me as a selection after I've already obtained it.

He accidentally tossed his Rust-B-Gone a long long while ago, and am unsure how to go about this problem so he can get his Evoker's Ring...is it possible to get the Rust-Be gone again, or is it forever lost/can a GM restore the quest/reset that part of the quest even though its been done a long time ago?

I really appreciate this information in advance as I'd hate to see my bud w/o his Evoker's Ring.

well Ifrit's bow won't appear anyway since it's a drop from Waking the Beast :3

That aside, according to wiki, if you recieve one of the reward items and throw it, you cannot recieve it again :/ Personally I have the ring myself, and the quest items are not on the rewards list after beating an avatar. Surely if they are re-obtainable they would appear on the list again?

Your friend is SoL on the ring.

you can try asking a GM.
you can only get 1 item back that you doped
but if it been in your friends inventory they might be able to get it back to ya

Try GM support. Because it is a quest item they may be nice and give it to you're friend again. Or they will use the 1 time restore and get it back to him. If that does not work your are so fucking pwn'ed in da butt.

Really? I just forgot which ones I've traded in. I guess I don't have to worry about getting douplicates if I decide to go through the trouble of joining random avatar shouts (though I haven't seen one in ages).

Wow, been so long since I did this I forgot those items aren't "key items".. SE needs to fix this. Hopefully you can re-get the item afterward at least through a GM :-/

still, a bit of an extreme move.

it looks necrobumpy on the surface.. but then u did post valid stuff on most of them i've seen so far. Try not to take it so far, or else I'd have to warn you on it.
I don't know if anyone will respond to you though.. the game has seen its interest dwindle a fair bit and with it, the discussions in forums as well.

We'd probably need something new to liven things up around here, but thats all up to SE.
