Lack of HNMls. The only truely notable one was Censhura and everyone who isnt in Censhura runs their mouth. Lots of cam-whores though if you want virtual babes. Just hit up Marianelia and Ophie. Last I saw of them they where handing out handjobs for Assault Jerkins and what-not. Dynamis LS wherent that great either. I cant remember the name of the first LS i joined... it was actually decent. Think it was run by Ryanna or something like that. Was a very good Dynamis LS but then she tried to make it a Sea/Sky/Northland LS and it disbanded. After that it was crap dyna LS after crap dyna LS. People wiping 5-6 times in a row in Bastok. Aggroing Windurst's House of Death and Bastok's Chocobo Stables.

Alot of the good, fun players are leaving the game early. Cedri's gone, Martel's leaving... it's sad but hey... I guess people have lives.

Bahamut wasn't much better. Throw people at any issue until something dies. Repeat for 3 years until you finally out-lot someone for those Wyrmal Abjurations lol

I have no idea who Cedri or Martel are - they don't sound too awesome though. Garuda has the BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST HNMLS' of any server right now.

only parts about garuda that i didnt get used to was pld/war tanking shit with AA rotations when they were also tanking with rdm/nins... SA did that too, but i helped put an end to that shit FAST. oh, and i wasnt used to US/EU ppl sucking up to JP ppl. On hades, the JP were the ones who sucked up to us and solo tanking tiamat was a normal thing to do with 0 dmg-in-air hits(w/o SS too).

but its all good. not that i care really. it didnt make my performance any worse/better, but it was entertaining to see most LS's use 3 tanks as if it was a normal thing lol.

one thing i loved about garuda was the ppl. i like joining ptys with ppl who knew who i was and my reputation based on the pics i post on forums and whatnot, when i had no idea who they were. they were generally nice and didnt ask for gil which earns +1 pts for me. but i liked the atmosphere a lot. it was an easy server to get used to, and ironically, the most skill/teamwork i seen as far as endgame goes were from ppl who DIDNT camp kings and use bots. i found that really cool. and i loved my LS when it was active. Idk what Trip' is, since i dont know 99% of those ppl, but i was a core member in SA. i didnt know how we were actually a family and really good friends until the LS got torn up from those lolbans. def no other group i would rather play with. and i was in other LS's like Excellence and whatnot. SA was def the funnest times i had in FFXI, and i enjoyed clowning it up in there and i dont regret anything. i would do it all again. yup, even dupe salvage knowing its still dangerous! idc, i didnt get anything from it anyway lol. i had all my salvage gear before we learned about it, but staying up at 3 am to watch one of your cloest friends 200 miles away jump up and go crazy over a rare (used to be rare anyways, dropped like once every 3-4 months)piece is one of the most fulfilling achievements i ever had, and way better than lotting any item in the game.

we already have our original core ready for 14, but im personally not gonna go crazy over it like i was on XI. RL is too fun right now, and im love making up for my lost time!

garuda is my FFXI home. if i ever go to a fanfest and they ask me what server im from. my 1 1/2 years on garuda was more of a home to me than me 2+ years on hades. i loved this place and i miss everyone in it. i got along with everyone regardless of the LS they were in and respected them too. i wish them all the best!

I never server transferred so I don't have anything to compare it with, but I had a lot of fun in game so Garuda was good enough for me.

Shosho kicked every single NA player who wasn't on his dick for what little gear they could scrounge up, even the one's who were truly skilled. True pro, brah.

When I joined Stelvia, it was half NA/EU, half JP.

Most NA/EU got what they wanted and left, which is why they aren't taking any new NA/EU. Shosho didn't kick people from the LS. I already have everything I want (sans a Dring), and I got them all when stel was still decently balanced. I just show up every now and then for the hell of it now... pop in once a week.

I joined because I had a great deal of NA friends in there btw, not the JP nuthugging you're beating yourself off to.

I never really got the whole taking pride in being NA thing. You've had an inferiority complex since the outset... same with your close followers (OP too probably). You were always just mad that the Stel/Div NA's weren't on your needle dick, admit it.

Do you guys own SW/DI now? I really don't know, haven't been paying attention... rest assured that it was after Stel and DV milked them dry and lost interest.

No - actually - Shosho DID kick all of the NA's. Maybe you need to talk to your leader/NA friends some more. I still (prior to server jump) had a pearl to Stelvia.

While Sovelis may have been crying because he had paid for the majority of the bot and then never been paid for the money he put in, I was never in that boat, sorry. Every other person who put money in towards it was paid off! Sorry!

One, we were the first LS to actually stand up to the generally accepted idea on Garuda that if you weren't in Stel/Div, you weren't ever going to get gear. We weren't willing to accept that you had to be on the JP's dick to get what we wanted. That's a big deal.

Again - this discussion was about HNMLS's on Garuda - nothing more - so yes, killing well..HNM's..was obviously notable in this situation.

We brought 2 alliances to Fafnir, because of the bot, lol. Normally 10-15 of the characters at each camp were being dual/tri/quad boxed for claim. Notice all the DC's after claim? Yeah. And hah, you are STILL on about this wipe you are saying happened, but never did. We never did a 5-hour Cerberus, that was a rumor Enigma started to save face, because we watched them wipe to Gates of Hades and then killed it from like 10%.

We never once wiped to a Fafnir or Nidhogg, unless you count the one where Aiolias was solo tanking Nidhogg, and the best LS on the server, Stelvia of course, decided to toss pride aside and cure/2 hour to spin it to make it flail. Cool brah.

When at the peak, yes, we did own SW/DI. Div didn't even bother coming out for ToD, not having more than 3-4 people on for it. Stelvia? Oh right, at this point they had quit HNMs, having not claimed a Faf/KB/Aspid/DI/SW/Tia/Cerb/Khim etcetcetc for some 3+ months.

Oh right, a couple of things we did, notable, hah. inb4 "lol kings are srs"

-Introduced PLD/NIN tanking to Garuda (It was widely regarded I was a complete idiot for not using /WAR and a SMN rotation for many months)

-Introduced PLD/RDM tanking/kiting/etc (Sadly it was not until the last 3 months did people FINALLY start showing up PLD/RDM to kite KB, tank Aspid, JoL, etc. Old habits die hard with those silly JP.

-Introduced the idea of a PLD not sucking at tanking DI. I solo tanked quite a few DI's, all the while not dying, MPKing half of my alliance, holding hate like a PLD should, etc. Div/Stel's ability to kill a mob that at this point was over a year old was absolutely laughable. 30+ deaths per kill is not how a fight should go, and I showed them time and time again how it is supposed to look.

-Our first KB ever, we killed in 20 minutes flat. Fuha, not to mention several others in Stelvia, let me know what was going on the shell at the time of death. Tons of spam about how it was the fastest KB they had ever seen. No one on Garuda knew it was possible to kill in under 30 minutes. We've done a personal best of ~7 minutes, and no, not with 2 alliance like I have a feeling you will say. Most in Stelvia regarded that as the day Shosho started taking us seriously and possibly began beating his kids day-in and day-out.

-Introduced the idea of DD/Skillchaining on Fafnir+Nidhogg. It was accepted by Stel/Div/Enigma that BLM-burning was the only way to kill the two, because TP-spam was uncontrollable. This was only the case due to shitty tanks, PLD/WAR dead-tank strategies, etc. We came in and showed them what 6-minute Faf/Nid's looked like, and left with over 25 Ridill's and 20+ of every king body there is.

-Same thing about speedy kills due to competent tanks applied to everything, as far as Cerberus, Khimaira, Aspid, etc. All of our kills were undeniably fast and smooth, something that the full alliance Div/Stel just couldn't procure because of the lack of any single tank's ability to hold it. I'm not denying Pyotale couldn't solo tank the world all at once, oh he could, but you better believe with his lack of gear swaps he wouldn't be holding hate on it for long.

It's hard to feel bad for TeamJP because Censura got a bot better than theirs. Botter's Aery has never been much more than a pissing contest between different bots anyway, and TeamJP lost for a while. Censura got a good bot and won. I bought one of the first N.heads they sold for 1mil. Hooray~!

Not that it matters, but I'm fairly sure that when DI came out it was SA that got some of the first kills, straight tanking it with PLD/NIN, NIN/DRK, and whatever else we felt like bringing using the terrain to our advantage and not really kiting. Stupid horse spends half the fight running away anyway. He practically kites himself. Then we got bored of faggalicious spook-wars with TeamJP, so we stopped camping it unless someone happened to get ToD on a weekend during the day or a free-night when we had enough to kill. I know I was at some 10AM weekend kill where Archimond used his once-a-month log-in to solo tank DI for us for the 29,000 hours it took us to worry it to death with, like, 2 DDs (one of which was my WAR, which I never geared for Steel Cyclone and hadn't finished meriting). That kill was freaking painful. Who cares? We were low-man and it was early in the history of DI. I got a cape.

Also, for the record, none of you invented the ninja subjob. Stop bringing it up. The winner of the special olympics is still a retard.

I watched that 5 hour Cerberus personally, don't try using that excuse on me. It happened, I watched it. I definitely saw you guys wipe to Fafnir at least twice, not Nidhogg... Fafnir. Saw 8 Cen members (none were afk) wipe to Adamantoise (not aspi, no aggro). I was definitely present for a KB curbstomping too. IIRC, you personally skidded to your death right at my feet.

Censura wasn't the first NA anything on the server. You guys didn't come up with anything that hadn't been done before. You guys definitely didn't invent PLD/RDM tanking or PLD/NIN either (for any specific mob in the game).

Meleeing/SCing Fafhogg wasn't deemed impossible by our shell. We just do whatever is most convenient for the numbers we had.

We stopped coming to SW/DI long before you guys started claiming it. We never camped Tiamat or Cerberus even once in the past two years. We camped Khim once every few months iirc. Yes, your superbot owned Nid/KB/Aspi. Nothing else over us.

Any former Stel NA from my tenure who says differently on the kicking matter can call bullshit on me right now if they want, send them here or send them after me in game. You can even name some names if you want, and I'll set you straight, npnp.

I managed to miss our first (two?) attempts at PW. I caught one and lost a considerable amount of xp, but that's all I remember.

And yeah, Sirus needs to post more comics! Heck, I miss the Governor vs. Slide photoshop wars.
