Sorry, but also criticism is a contribution.
Most of Favor has been tested and it's no secret that it has no more use then occasionaly being able to play lazy because there is no other job to support a blm party at that moment.
Then there's this little fact that 85% of the summoners can't even reach 3MP/Tick, let alone 4MP/tick or even know how to reach those numbers.
I admit Shiva's and Leviathan's Favors could have had some potential would they give enough of a boost to warant putting a summoner over another blm in a partyslot.
Then there's this little thing about Favor's range...

Ive been playing for 4-5 years now Ithink and my only 75 jobs are Smn and Drg, even though Ive worked hard to gear them as good as possible there are other jobs that are easily more useful but it doesnt bother me and shouldnt bother anyone because quite frankly I like playing the jobs. Fireballs and Dragonbreath booyah!
I leveled summoner before favor and the ability hasnt changed the job other then now I refresh blm parties occasionally (has anyone seriously used any of the other favors?)

I've played around with them some...and honestly none other than refresh has shown any promise to eat up a party spot for it over other jobs.

Koryuu is kinda right on me though. Put I can put it a little more clear I think on my feelings with Favor.

My main problem with favor is that it changed nothing in how we are used. It gave us a little more of a boost in some areas, strengthened the solo areas some more, but did nothing at all for people to consider using SMNs outside of where we were being used before we had Favor. And let's be honest, that's what the job needs more than anything. Something, be an ability or an avatar, that EXPANDS our usefulness into new areas. Instead we were giving a bunch of things that add nothing exciting other than a refresh that then turns us into "lug the bat around and do nothing with it"

Hence my bitterness over Favor. Could it be expanded into something far better? Possibly. We all remember merit BPs used to be laughable Pieces of shit, and now have become very useful. (Still need their MP cost reduced to 70 BP costs, but that's another argument.)

Favor right now just feels like some last ditch effort of "give them something fast and maybe they will forget about promises of avatars."

That's kinda how I feel about it. I think they scratched the avatar idea, and went with this. I mean if we were supposed to get new avatars we would have got them already.

How is the Dbl Att? Noticeable.... didnt i read a while back it was 10% DBA fully buffed?

Same as Corsair buff at below 317 (13%?) so since I can idle in 319 without sacrificing -perp should be halfway decent because lets face it crimson howl sucks anyways

i like Crimson Howl.. pitifully short without enough skill tho, but kinda decent with enough of it.

given how favors penalize dmg i'd rather not do any of that while favor still needs to be up.. in other words, when you're using favors, you shouldnt have a need to use 70/75 BPs., because if you do it will suck anyway. thats my philosophy anyway
