There is also alot of low level goodies but on a first pass these are the end game and totally new stuff that really stuck out.

Destroyers and a hat that makes me redo my Kupo hat? Freakin sweet!

Edit:
2 armor sets. Each set has 3 identical stated entries with different names for example:

I came a little. I might reactive my FFXI account...

Edit:

All of this haste gear completely calls for re-evaluation of PUP gear.

Not to mention, Puppet melee skill? oh man. Puppet Store TP? This adds new gear for master-less situations, maybe giving us more options other than just the SR for endgame. STR+3, DEX+4, ACC+3, Haste +2% on feet? oh my god.

PUP DESTROYERS? /orgasm. On seocnd look though, they're a bit lackluster.. suprisingly low base damage, only 3% crit rate? that makes me a little upset. I'm most excited about that Berret.

Unless there's some hidden effect on those sainti, yeah. 'hades is better, those "destroyers" aren't worthwhile.

Surge Subligar
[Legs] DEF:36 Accuracy+12 Attack+6
"Slow"+8%
CanEquip, NoSale, Ex, Rare
Lv 73 PUP, DNC

Absolutely beautiful for Stringing Pummel. Hard choice to decide between Usukane and this Surge Subligar for WS now. Almost wish I still played so I could work on getting all of this new stuff. D:

Also, the (Shikkoku/Shinku/Ginhaku) Togi and Kote that have STR, Accuracy, Attack, and critical hit damage bonus might outperform everything else for Stringing Pummel too...

**edit**
I wonder if Evolith system works with these items... o.o

I am really thrilled with that hat. It is almost a carbon copy of the Kupo Hat so it frees up that hat for other augments. It also includes all pet jobs so I can use it on smn too! I really hope it is not a pain to obtain though.

Oh it will be hard to get. SE won't give us pet users decent gear so easily.

Very nice belt. Here are two more goodies. Not 100% sure on the set but it seems very likely you get the set bonus for wearing both the rings (since so far no other armor has been found with this set bonus).

Lava's Ring [Rare][Ex]
LV55 All Jobs
Fire+5 Air+5 Thunder+5 Light+5
Set: DEF:+6 Accuracy+12 Attack+6

Kusha's Ring [Rare][Ex]
LV55 All Jobs
Water+5 Earth+5 Ice+5 Dark+5
Set: DEF:+6 Accuracy+12 Attack+6

So if you wear them both you are basically wearing 2 rings that give Acc +6 Attack + 3 DEF + 3 with some elemental resists to boot. That is basically 2 Divisor Ring +1s!

I am no sure I follow. Compared to say Ulthalam's ring + Blood Ring (my current combo) it seems rather good.

Acc + 9 Attack +4 Resistances

Vs

Acc +12 Attack +6 DEF + 6 Elemental Resistances

If these two rings do work together to make the bonus they are almost as good as double toreadors (14 acc vs 12 acc 6 attack).

Maybe I am missing something but these seem good especially if you do not have Raja's due to other jobs.

Honestly, if I had those two rings, i'd chunk my Rajas and get the mage ring for my WHM.

the two of those together easily beat snipers, come close to toreadors.. my melee ring combo is Rajas/Ulthalams.

STR +2~5 DEX +2~5
"Store TP" +5
"Subtle Blow" +5
Accuracy +4 Attack +4
Assault:
STR +4 DEX +4
Adds "Regen" effect

from that combo.

Acc +12 Attack +6 DEF + 6 Elemental Resistances Wins. The Store TP, for PUP, is negligible. We aren't SAMs. STR isn't needed while punching, and with Stringing pummel we need that huge increase in ACC. We really don't need the subtle blow, and assault bonuses aren't even worth looking at.

Tell me, how do those rings suck?

"We aren't SAMs. STR isn't needed while punching," Str does a hell of a lot more for pup than it ever would for sam in a TP build. That was a VERY bad comparison.

You misread the statement.

Quote

"STR isn't needed" wasn't connected with the "We aren't SAMs" thought.

That's how I meant those two statements.

Str actually does more for TP'ing on pup than most other jobs in the game. Not really to be underestimated.

I know. It really is an important stat. But I would give up 5 STR for the ACC and a moderate bit of ATT, especially on our weaponskills. I just don't see how aura can say the rings suck.

The way I see it is; Rajas + Ulthalam's comes out to 6 acc, 6 attack, 5 STR, 5 DEX, 5 Store TP, and 5 Subtle blow (acc and att from STR and DEX included), compared to 6 extra accuracy. The STR and in my case, the attack round that 5 extra Store TP shaves off of getting to the next Stringing Pummel is worth well more than 6 more accuracy for melee attacks, especially if your accuracy is already capped or near capped on Greater Colibri anyway.

This set of new rings does virtually nothing for PUP imo.

So the best setup for Stringing Pummel will be something like this:

Kupo Helm: +4 STR +10 Accuracy +5 attack WS accuracy +15

Shikkoku Togi
[Body] DEF:46 STR+4
Accuracy+8 Attack+8
Increases critical hit damage
CanEquip, NoSale, Ex
Lv 71 MNK, SAM, PUP

Shikkoku Kote
[Hands] DEF:17 STR+3 Accuracy+5
Increases critical hit damage
CanEquip, NoSale, Ex
Lv 71 MNK, SAM, PUP

Surge Subligar
[Legs] DEF:36 Accuracy+12 Attack+6
"Slow"+8%
CanEquip, NoSale, Ex, Rare
Lv 73 PUP, DNC

Setanta's Led.
[Feet] DEF:19 STR+3 DEX+4
Accuracy+3 Evasion+3 Haste+2%
CanEquip, NoSale, Ex, Rare
Lv 74 MNK, THF, RNG, BLU, COR, PUP, DNC

Virtuoso Belt [Rare][Ex]
LV54 All Jobs
Accuracy+12 Attack+4

Brutal, Hollow Earring, Soil Gorget, Pantin Cape, Toreadors/Rajas. That's a lot of new shit.

"especially if your accuracy is already capped or near capped on Greater Colibri anyway."
How exactly are you doing this? Full usu and dual tor rings + sole+1 barely caps out. If you're capping out w/ haste substitutions, use more acc on the rings, swap out acc in other slots and put haste back in and you'd get more of a benefit.
