[Deviate]

So I recently gave my old computer to a friend and when I plug it in at his house, the internet does not work.

It says it is connected and enabled, but when I try to go online I get a "Unable connect to server" message.

It works perfectly when I take it back to my house, and his internet works fine on his other computer.

Anybody know what the problem might be?

Are you going through a switch or straight off the modem?
