Why? Because I feel the need to vent. Not gonna name names, myself. But hey, if any of the guilty wanna out themselves that's just fine.

So here we are going to do the Airship fight, which oddly enough, some people such as myself still need!

Sam with us seems somewhat pensive that I, a smn, am with them. But is willing to give me the benefit of the doubt. I express my own concerns over the pld/nin going into a 60cap fight with us. Sam also eventually makes a comment about how he'd prefer we had vent (which actually, I do even though I play on the 360) but doesn't offer up info to the one they use or you know, even ask if we want to. Just assumes. The group comprises mostly of his LS.

Anyway, all this aside, let's get to the meat of the story. Everyone gets cutscenes, we start it up and... the sam and the blu both run to where the pld is supertanking and... start fighting it there. I state, please pull it back, because of the AoEs. Fortunately, AoEs don't seem to be going off yet. Eventually they start asking us to silence things. I reitterate, please pull it back out of the AoEs. They start saying to silence various Mammets in mage form now. That are being supertanked. One does get silenced and it goes after the silencer. Because... it was being supertanked. Well, now that hate is starting to get loose all over and AoEs are flowing much more freely, people start dying. Once wiped I try telling them again, we should be pulling this shit out and not fighting them right at the tank.

As I and the rdm try explaining how supertanking and hate works, we get told by the sam mentioned before. "dude leave now, stop playing this game, don't ever play another MMO just leave"

Yes, this by the fucking RETARD who doesn't know how supertanking works, that he should get the fuck away from AoEing mobs and by the way, the blu is telling us we should have kited the mobs that we were silencing. Instead of you know, DOING IT RIGHT. A single fucking person taking AoE damage, yes, that's the TANK in question here, is actually really fucking EASY to heal as long as they're the only one getting hit and we don't have to run all over the goddamn place kiting things,

Tikki, sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience with Airship fight. I've tanked it on NIN and without a group of people who know what they're doing or the right jobs, I know it can be frustrating. And then when things don't go right, people start throwing out blame and stuff, which isn't conducive for helping anyone to finish CoP. All in all, I'd say don't get too down after dealing with such people, just laugh it off and try again with a solid plan and people who know what they're doing.

Reading up to that point brought a smile to my face. I HATED the airship fight, it was such a bitch. I myself had to deal with a lot of retards and had quite a few failures.

I'm really surprised you guys didn't even make it past mammets though, they aren't bad at all lol. My condolence's to you though, Airship is an extremely hard fight. You should stay positive though! Once you win the remaining missions aren't that bad at all! (Well the pots can be tough for some people... But they aren't airship tough)

That's the thing, as Sivone I HAVE tanked it! I have plenty of experience with it! Just.. I've already finished CoP on Siv but not on Tikki. c_c

Funniest thing of all though, is they probably still think they're right. I tried explaining what went wrong very calmly to which I get told I don't know what I'm talking about or that they're not listening to me. After that, that's when I finally snapped back. >_>

I hate idiots like who think they're right all the time, then tell you to quit the game because they can't think of a real insult for you, as you've done nothing wrong and they have no grounds to come up with anything clever. I wouldn't be TOO mad over it because

1: Any group that can't breeze through mammets probably isn't going to do well in the other 2 fights.

2: With the way they play currently it is unlikely you are going to see either of them in Sea soon.

The fight can go like clockwork if you have the right people. I went on 1 test run (no CCB/yellows etc), then won on the 'real' run. We just wanted to get the mammet part down. We ended up beating mammets first time, then we exited. It's not difficult. It's a reasonable fight compared to the first CoP mammet fight really.

My group DID have a smn in it also. We got extra buffs so the whm can focus on a few other things, like curing. The DD also did pull and space out the mammets to not hurt anyone else. One cure per 'soloer'. The mammets aren't the most difficult part of this fight, not by a longshot.

I am supposing most people don't realize 'yellow name' means 'unclaimed'. The supertank will not have hate on those mobs at all, so anyone doing anything to those mobs(aside from the DD's) is kinda retarded.

If people want to point out they know more, they better well actually know more. Reading online about strategies for fights is a must for CoP. You can be the best damned player in the world, but if you have no idea what to bloody do, shut up and listen to people who do.

I feel great shame in saying that they're from my (not my as in "own", but I am in the same) linkshell, and would personally like to apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused. I know them, but apparently not well enough, because I thought they were far smarter than this. I was apparently wrong, and will be sure to mention this to them next time I'm on.

I got lucky, some JPs needed a WHM and they chose me to do the fight with them. Yay.

Anywhos, Alahel helped another group of mine finish CoP final fight, I logged on a few days later only to find out that I got hacked. Check it out.

Then got hacked again a few months later, yay! :/
