So me and a few other mnks got to discussing it tonight and got me all confused. One said destroyers are best h2h since capping acc with pizza now is super easy, another said shens even with capped acc will beat destroyers by alot and even more when uncapped. We then compared relic to these h2h and came to conclusion that shens = relic in pure dmg terms when acc is not capped. As you can see this is not consistent and varies from all 3 being on top to different people.....
I check few pages back in forums but didnt find any math or final says on the h2h....
So how does shenlongs stack up to destroyers and relic? was there ever math done to prove if shes is indeed better than destroyers, or if they are even on paar with relic? i am just curious because i snagged me a pair tonight ;D

Relic > Shen > Destroyers. Hell, hades+1 can beat out destroyers really. I could see shenlongs beating spharai if your acc was THAT bad, but rly, your acc should never be THAT BAD (with current gear options + pizza)

DO you know roughly the % increase? My mnk friend with full usu and all the other top fancy gear claims destroyers>shens hands down but i cant convince him otherwise....

From my post on the allah thread

Crits math isn't my thing so I left it up to him for that section, but yea, only thing I'd ever see destroyers winning on is mobs w/ super high defense where crits do over double the damage of your regular melee hits.

Even w/ capped fstr and capped acc
mnk/nin 75
You have 66 vs 63 DMG
66/63 = 4.76% increase for DoT, slightly less for ws
1% da w/ brutal is going to be about a .95% increase
1.00952381 * 1.047619 = 5.75% increase for DoT, slightly less for WS
vs
6% crits that only apply to DoT, which should be less than 6% increase to DoT, then that gets cut down so prolly 4-5% increase.
Idk much on crit math though so you'll have to get a confirmation from Kine on that.
Now if your fstr is uncapped, u have 75% chance of getting an fstr up. So let's say your fstr is 9
66/62 = 6.4% increase to dot slightly less to WS, should beat the crits on its own.

Worst case for Destroyers, where you have capped attack (eg: mnk/war with Berserk), and with a solid (but not capped) crit rate against properly debuffed mobs, the +crit on destroyers will be worth at little as +1.9% to your damage.
In almost all cases where you have a reasonable amount of attack and decent debuffers, the +crit on Destroyers isn't going to be worth more than +3% damage.
If you're in a relatively weak gear setup (new 75 mnk with scorp harness eating sushi against lvl 83 mamool that don't have Dia cast on them, and possibly have Protect as well) it can be worth around +5.5% damage.

btw veg i figured asking you be just as good as anyone... i been getting a group in my shell ready for salvage, ill be leading but idk really much about it only tried it for 50 or so runs when it first came out years ago. I want to make it no more then 7ppl if possible, what setup can realistically do any zones w/o having to swap jobs?
