The staggering amount of entries and the love that evidently went into each are a testament to the good doctor's enduring popularity, and this made the task of selecting winners that much more difficult for the judges. Considering she's just a standard Tarutaru model wearing Tactician Magician's armor, I'd really have thought that using her signature laughing pose would be more appropriate. Nonetheless, these are great pieces of art. I have to say that I liked the sculpture, though, if only because so many people do drawings and paintings.

i didn't care for the winner at 1st, until later i realized all the elements behind her.

i guess i can see why they chose the winner.

I didn't care for any of them, none of them stood out like the contests SE usually has around the new year or whenever.

Yes, but your prejudice against the subject matter is well-established. Take someone who is vehemently anti-Christian and ask them to assess pictures of Jesus, they'll have the same "They all suck" kind of reaction.

I guess, but still. One shantotto just looks the same as the rest to me. At least when the subject is anything and everything in XI you got a ton of variety.
