Hey guys. After about 6 months away from FFXI, i'm making a (small) return to the game in my spare time. problem is, i've lost all my macros and windower scripts and ect for PUP! i'm pretty irritated because my macros, PUP especially, were fine tuned to perfection to swap gear for every maneuver, when casting a nuke, idling, ect.. all of it.

Since i'm lazy, and I love all of you, would anyone mind sharing their Macros, Windower scripts, or XML files with me?

I don't care much for spellcast. I do too much situational stuff for it to handle, lol. I prefer good ole manually pressed windower macros.

QFT. Besides, having a program play the game for you (even if it only takes over menial tasks) kind of defeats the purpose of playing.

I like the concept behind spellcast, but i don't really trust it enough to rely on it flatout. However, that XML is a good base for me to try playing with it, so thanks :D thanks to you, too, Dantaro :)

The main thing i'm not looking for is my BLM puppet macros.. i had that shit set up so perfectly I blinked every animation and changed literally every peice of gear I had on for every action..

I'm wondering if any of you know if spellcast can be triggered for puppet RA's or Spell casts? I normally just do normal script macros, but I would switch over to spellcast if it allowed me to stop worrying about getting puppet skill gear on and off every 30 seconds. Endgame can be really stressful as an anal pup.

Merry Christmas! That being said this is the script I use on my Puppetmaster

Loli Blm Pup
(this is the one I use for the blackmage puppet and I'm generally not ever engaged in these situations. You could also easily add in a set for subjob:scholar but I never go anywhere /scholar)

It blinks you for
Deploy
Retrieve
Maneuvers
Activate
Deactivate

Just pick a piece of gear for deploy and retrieve in there so you don't eat dirt.
Instead of making something stupid complicated I use 3 scripts (same script, different gear) depending on what puppet is out. It really isn't a big deal to type /sc load val for if I wanna pull valoredge out instead of the blackmage.

As for making spellcast react to what your automaton is using...it can't be done yet ^^*
You can set gear changing wait times so you stay in a certain set of gear for X-amount of time or don't put that gear on for X-amount of time but that's about it..for now :)

(I'm not sure which version of spellcast you're running)

A lot of commands in there won't work with the new spellcast, haven't had time to give it a good look-over (I'm in limbus atm lol)

So I just copypasted my xml to that converter thing, and it broke it :(

none of the equips are working :s

im such a spellcast nub.

haha It's ok :) First things first, backup all your junk, old spellcast, old scripts yada yada just chuck into a folder to be on the safe-side.
This is the newest spellcast Spellcast
(Careful though if your scripts have a lot of errors the new spellcast won't let you load them, but eh not like they were working anyway lol. I found out my brd wasn't working going into dynamis..what a joy that was.)
Just looking over it there's a few simple errors in there like set "Idling" isn't actually used anywhere in the script and some broken/useless tags.
My final exam is tomorrow so I can try and fix it for you after that if you like.
What exactly do you want it to do? There isn't a lot of scholar specific things in there, ie nothing specific for dark arts, light arts (I see some sets that are named light arts, dark arts, but nothing actually to do with the buff itself)

You should also fill in the basic standard set annnnnd it's running a debug file so you can hunt that down and post it too, would also help :)

Eh bottom line is I should make one for myself anyway so let me know what you want it to do and I'll plunk away at it

I'm just wanting it to change correct staff for spell (mostly cures/sleep), change to idle setup (e.staff, vcloak, regen items etc when i get them) then the specific maneuvers.

Other than that, i don't need much else. My PUP melee xml is pretty much perfect at this time. I use two different xmls for PUP. One is SCH-specific SJ, and the other is PUP XML.

This isnt actually my PUP XML, i'm working on my WH one first then using it as a base for PUP. I have the newest SpellCast, and I used the updater script, but i'm still getting errors.

I get an error on line 103, the error says Error reading end tag.. but i dont see how there's a problem. Any help?
