pretty much even as a tp piece with skadi. only with the numbers i ran in the way i did, skadi came out a bit higher. i use skadi. plus it doubles for my sa piece too.

Thief melee damage can be broken down like this:
10% hitting for 0.
89% missing.
0.5% weaponskill damage.
0.5% hitting for 1.

So subtle blow is essentially pointless and gear should be chosen for purely aesthetical reasons, or increased TH. Mithra RSE should be a popular choice for most budding Mithran thieves, because people wil throw money at you to spend on other, more useful jobs. Opaline is a viable alternative, and doubles up as a nice WS set for Dancing Edge. That's only if you think you should be doing damage though.

Real pros have an anwig 3%haste/10acc augment, turban, cuchulain's mantle, and attack mantle, and know when to use each, with rings / rappVSacp equips following in-tandem.

just use AF head, as INT has a secondary mod of making you smarter, so you can land SA or TA from a wider angle, and AF head is +5 meaning you can SA or TA from approx 50degrees more in either direction
