Hello! I have been gone since WoTG launched I got blu to 75 and got sea and junk (although I am not sure my tarutaru is still alive) Was just wondering how we are fairing endgame now with magical spells (heat breath mind blast ect ect) And do we have any new ones (released since WoTG) I know we do but I cannot find info on dmg and stuff only what they do.

I ask this because I tend to like the support/magical side of blue in endgame activities unless I am forced to go /nin(ugh) /thf is okay but i still prefer magical subs or something to boost heat breath ANYway

My gear was horrible, infact it was absolute crap, AF gear. some yigit..I left during the inflation and I have like 0gil and suck at making it So what rare/ex sets are there now to help me on the way to getting caught up?

And if anyone is on fenrir (which is where my sad little self transfered before I left the game...total waste of money) How much are HQ ele staves?

And if I plan to mainly do magic DD /suppot should I stick with my rajas or change to tamas? (i guess i should add the fact my other jobs are evenly balanced between mages and melee so that isnt much of a factor)

End game, IF geared well... we do fairly well actually. Aside from the gear side of it you need to be able to play the job very well in order for your blu to see the light of day in the ls i am with.

There is two new spells in WOTG which are on the wiki, mostly for cannonball stats really. Sub Zero Smash and Triumphant Roar. Niether are huge damaging spells however I do use Subzero alot when just throwing spells down for damage, not bad damage for the mp cost if all other spells are down.

As far as what is used in end game when it comes to blu. I would say 50% being cannonball for obvious HNM such as Ixion, Khim, PanD, ect. The other 50% is reg DD style of attack and the top 3/4 spells and debuffs for melee. I did gear up rather well for Magic portion of Blu, and it did fairly well on dragons damage wise, but MP wise wasnt worth it. Also main issue is you are to have several front line or back line jobs when in HNMLS. So I have Sam and some others which get summoned for the Faf Nid Tia type mobs. So I ended up selling all my magic based gear and stuck to damage and cannonball.

You asked on HQ staffs, they are great for the magic side of blu. I did have them all for blu, in fact regretfully got ride of Vulcan Staff which I used alot for my Breath build however it was only situational and have too many jobs to let that take a spot up with the other gear, but did well against Jailer of Fortitude.

Dont gimp on DD gear for the Top 4 spells. I went all out on DEX STR or VIT pending the spell and you can hit some really high numbers. If you are going the more frequently used DD Blu route which I am a fan of, keep Rajas! Also read up on casting gear, DONT BE THAT GUY that casts in everything else but AF1 body or AF2 head. Blu skill > all.
