Go to the SAM forums... go to Store TP and you sticky. Read. Learn.

That thread is not really useful for a RNG, particularly since they list off all sorts of gear that we can't wear.
To answer the OP, for a 5-hit Annihilator with /WAR, you need Store TP+21. The best combo to hit that is Rajas+Skadi pants+Mekki Shakki+Rose Strap, though there are obviously other combinations that can work.

You obviously didn't read the post then.
It's not about gear, it's about math. If you don't know what STP gear applies to your job then that is your problem...
Go to Wiki and look at gear with store TP that applies if you don't know off the top of your head.

Funny, because the math in that post says that TP is calculated as:
5 + [(Delay - 180) * 6.5 / 270]
Since Annihilator+silvers is 822 delay, that means that it returns... 20.4 TP/hit! Yay, 5-hit out of the box, even as /WAR!
That thread is for SAMs, not RNGs. You would have been better off linking him to the FFXIwiki page on TP, but you would have been best off by simply clicking Back on your browser and going on about your day, instead of replying to this thread at all.

Wouldn't that math therefore be off for any Samurai with Pachipachio or Futsuno Mitama, then? Seriously, it's nice that you wrote up a (totally useless -- who the fuck assumes every Samurai will have Usukane Haramaki sitting around?) Store TP guide for Samurai, but one size does not fit all and, besides, a specific question demands a specific answer. If the best you can say is, "Go look it up for yourself," then don't bother replying.

Not to defend Vax here, but one of the spoiler tags does admit that the calculation used only applies for 181-450 delay. The issue is that rather than illustrate other possible formulas (e.g. for folks using Polearms, not that it really matters in practice), he just says "check Wiki".
Since most of that thread is centered around obtaining a 6 hit for a 450 GKT wielded by a Samurai 75, it doesn't really apply that well, and it's not really even worth reading since you're going to have to run to another source for the proper equation, and potentially a list of Store TP gear that RNG can use if you're human and don't happen to have it memorized.

Is it bad that I actually have the stats of most DD gear mentally on hand and actually could rattle off most Ranger Store TP options?
Anyone who has done most of the calculations in their head at one point probably could. I know Its not something I've forgotten for most weapons.

I love how most of you just glanced it over and didn't bother reading.
Again, to spider and path... you obviously didn't really read it.
Just because my EXAMPLE NUMBERS a SAM's, doesn't mean you can't.. i don't know... plug in your own values to the same formulas? Basic algebra is basic...
Amastacia, I edited in the other formulas now, I was not going to originally... but I guess if opening a tab in your browser is too hard to get a quick formula.... meh. you at least read most of it...
Only, it's not centered around a 450 delay weapon.. most of the math is centered around a 437 delay weapon
And path, maybe since 90% of your posts are worthless, no one asks for your help. I literally have 27 saved PMs asking about STP and STP formulas. Ironic... you calling my write-up useless. It's funny to watch you get laughed off BG every time you post there~
Don't worry.. I won't be back to this thread again. Excuse me for trying to get someone to be a little more self-sufficient by forwarding them to a place where they could answer their own question. Apparently that's a sure way to get flamed by people who can't read...

So hey, maybe instead of linking a thread centered around weapons we don't use and gear we can't wear calculated with traits we don't have, maybe you could have just linked the wiki pages for TP and Store TP instead? I'm sure it's exhilarating to post links to stickied threads that you've written, but posting links when they are actually relevant is slightly more helpful.
Or, and I know this idea is REALLY INSANE, maybe you could have just answered the OP's question? It's so crazy, it just might work.
I posted more RNG-relevant content in my second sentence (15 whole words!) than you have in this entire thread (and, if this thread is any indication, more than you've ever posted to the RNG forum).

Beautiful now I know all the Hagun math.... still had very little useful crossover information. Next time you're trying to be a smart ass post more relevant info. Nice try though.
