And... yes, it's gorgeous. I'm waiting for the pre-orders to open up on PlayAsia.

I'm not getting it for 3 reaons.

1. Worried I'd need some kind of power converter for it to work in a US power outlet
2. Trying to put it in English Language
3. It's pink...

a power converter wouldn't be hard to get; in fact, i'm fairly certain plugging in a U.S PS3 power cord would work. If not, you can get an international power outlet converter for 10 bucks at most electronics stores.

Pink or not, Lightning looks great

But I really wanna know.. if I buy it, can I get it to run US games? that's the real question..

According to Play Asia it can play US games/Blue Ray DVDs, but not regular DVDs

PlayStation3 is region free (for PS3 games, not PS2), and regardless of where you buy the console, it supports all the available languages and can be switched to any of them by just changing an option.

I'm pretty sure the power cable would work just fine too. A friend of mine has a Japanese Wii and didn't have to use any kind of converter, but it's probably a good idea to look it up anyway.
