Aside from the beta, this is the other good news I read about!

I really wish Microsoft would be able to get some of the classic FFs on Xbox Live. Now I definitely need to get a PSP.

$9.99? Come on, it's barely worth $1. I mean, I already played... it...

*looks for my credit card*

Wait...

1.78 GB

...damn. :(

Dissidia only requires 1.22 GB. I don't get it. FF8 was just ahead of its time I guess.

SE needs to hurry up and release FF 2-6 on the Wii's VC as well.

You know what's sad? On FFVII I'd always gotten to where I was about to beat the game, but then got side tracked with stuff and I never actually beat VII till it came out on PSN... Then I finished it finally on PSP. Now the only FF I've yet to finish is II... Where... I'm right outside the final Dungeon last time I played it... 5 years ago.

Yeah I know how you feel. I currently got that pirate woman (Forgot her name) and I'm on my way to the land of Dragoons but I just can't get into it because of how annoying the grinding is.

I really want to see FF3 translated on the NES. I know it's wishful thinking but I loved the NES version more than the DS version.

Cordy... Leveling in FFII is ridiculously easy... that's why I hated it. Just go to where the most basic monsters are, kill all but one, then have your characters fight each other.

This is one of my favorites, must have on my PSP. Since the ISO version for modded PSP's works like complete garbage.

I'm aware of that, but the grinding is still slow as hell.

Well, I found pretty quick it's easy to over level. About the time you have 2k hp, most everything is easily destroyed before your might. I gave up on magic early on, except for Cure, and I breezed through.

That's the problem with FF2 for me. Magic takes forever, however I also found it great for leveling your Endurance/HP since I have my melee stats pretty high and I can oneshot anyone with Gus using 2 axes.

I will agree Cure is piss easy to level, Fire/Thunder/Ice are to if you use them the way I mentioned above. However some spells are 100% useless though since unless you get them at a certain level they'll hardly take effect. I'm looking at you Blink, Shell, Protect, and Haste.

I never used Protect or Shell that much outside of FFVII and XI. And I suppose XII.

Me neither, but I noticed most spells that enhance your character have a pretty moderate fail rate unless you level them.

Ha, I might get this just to break the hell out of the game all over again. My team on my last playthrough was a merciless slaughter machine that ground Omega into dust without those pussy holy war items. Or Phoenix abuse.

Then I went back with the level 12 off-team and did it all over again. FF8 was so easy to break it`s just funny.

Agreed, I consider FF8 the easiest game of the series. It's like an instant win if you get Diabolos's No Encounter trait and w/e GF gave the ability to fully restore HP to a character. Then all you had to do was collect draw points on the Islands closest to Hell/Heaven and you're set.

I had characters doing 9999 per hit and attacking so fast their next turn came up before the attack animation finished And inflicting sleep/blind/poison/silence/death to anything not immune. Using GFs was totally pointless, except Tonberry because Tonberry was awesome.

I loved using Cactuar just because of how funny his animation was.
