I havnt played in quite awhile and forgot how the macro went so that you shoot while your blinking from gear change, avoiding the stop the animation of QD forces you to make. Can any1 give me an example of a macro w/ a well dialed in time to fit this criteria? I was soloing the other day and ontop of lag, the lack of this macro almost got me killed.

Macro in a staff before every shot and you should be fine unless you get lagged. Something like:
/equip main "Fire Staff"
/ja "Fire Shot" <t>
/equip main
The 3rd line is to remove your currently equiped weapon. You could also just macro in a staff you probably won't use to keep your grip on. (Like a Dark Staff).

yeah mine basically look like this
/equip main "Light staff"
/ja "Light shot" <t>
then i have a /recast macro which equips my idle weapon since i play on 360 and dont have some cool little thing in my corner telling me how long on my QD ; ;
/equip main "Joyeuse" (for example)
/recast "Light shot"
/recast "Phantom roll"
i dont use any kinds of /wait in my macro's and i've only once had a problem not blinking animation (was piss-pooring the rain here and lagging horribly)

I've always just switched back into Terra's Staff unless it's the shot I'm use. Even though I don't ever plan on getting hit.. it does happen (more often than not when I lag) so I like to idle in damage reduction gear like Terras, Jelly Ring, and various darksteel pieces. It takes a couple more macros to switch everything in/out but I find every little bit helps!

My solo-kiting gear was different than my QD gear.
So I would change from PDT/Regen to MACC/MAB/AGI blinking for QD, then blinking back to idle gear.

Same when I played. I actually didn't take a regen seriously until the last bit of when I played but it did help coupled with with Dancer's Roll for times when I'd get hit.

The only regen pieces I had on COR were Orochi Nodowa and Garden Bangles.
The other pieces I used in my Idle..
Terra/whatever/Corsair's gun/whatever
Ohat/Orochi/Musical/Novia
Scorpion Harness/Garden Bangles/Jelly Ring/Emerald ring
Boxer's Mantle/Scouter's Rope/Denali/Hermes
Could've added Darksteel, but i was lazy..
Then I changed to QD setup for QD..
Staff of choice/grip/corsair's/whatever
AF1+1/Ugly/Moldavite/Drone
Denali/AF2/Emerald/Emerald
commander's cape/scouter's rope/denali/denali
I had no problem with blinking in/out since I did anyways between idle and QD

Blood has one more Agi+ than leaping
But yah.. Leaping Boots aren't all that bad if you have nothing else.

I was told the MACC on Denali was better than the AGI on Blood/AF. Callisto(Ramuh) was the one who told me, IIRC.

It's widely believed that it does. However there hasn't been any proof, and we don't know what the formula for M. Acc is. Current speculation is 2 AGI = 1 M.Acc

Yah, we all 'assume' M.Acc does affect it but no one knows for sure how much M.Acc affects v/s Agi.
Until we can get a fairly dead-on number I'd just as soon put Agi+ in places where I can put it in large quantities over M.Acc and just put M.Acc onto slots where I can't get much Agi.
