It most certainly IS testable, though very time consuming. Elemental Seal is the same way, however much MORE time consuming. In said situations where you actually CAN test it, time is generally an important factor. *No LS wants to hold one of the sky gods for hours upon hours so a BLM can test how much macc Elemental Seal gives him.

For what it's worth, I sacrifice ~45 macc for raw damage while I'm under klimaform and have no noticeable increase in resists over my standard equipment. My guestimate *yes... that IS the proper term :-p* is 50 macc or half of the estimated macc offered by elemental seal.

My suggestion is this, start testing pieces of gear. If you sacrifice too much, you should notice resists more often. Once you reach that point, simply put back on some until you reach your desired results once more.
