Honestly I'm a huuuuge fan of /RDM.
You get Stoneskin, phalanx (Which I believe you can AoE) and also en-spells, Fast cast (Albeit a minimal increase, every little helps!)
Plus you get access to some nice enfeebs
. The only thing you're really missing is either divine seal or elemental seal, but with the gains you get from RDM it's a worthy cut I think.
Feel free to correct me anyone if I'm wrong on any of the points I've made^^

Personally, I think /RDM is leagues ahead of any other option. Nothing you get from either /WHM or /BLM compares to the accumulative value of /RDM.

If I'm going to be in Dark Arts most of the time, I actually prefer /WHM simply because I don't like wasting 2 charges on -nas and erase. If I know that's not going to be a problem though, /RDM.

if your such a huge fan, why do you only believe you can aga phalanx? must not be that big of a fan.

Jatox3, Maybe I should have explained myself better:
For me to be a fan of a certain job combo, doesn't necessarily mean I have it levelled
*omgShock*
I have seen SCH/RDM in action in parties, endgame events etc and that is what impresed me~ I've been fortunate to party with some really good players and I've enjoyed the benefits of a SCH/RDM in party ^^
But I bet it didn't cross your mind did it? Probably not.
Please, next time you feel like you have to show your superiority by picking apart someone's statement in such a nonsensical way, go do something productive like banging your head against a wall. It'll be much much more enjoyable for the rest of us.

At level 75, 90% of the time /rdm will be your best bet, access to Bind Gravity Stoneskin Blink Phalanx Enspells (which are all AoEable). Pre 68 post 56 /whm works because you have access to stoneskin. For pure nuking power /blm wins because of the higher natural MAB and INT. /Nin works for soloing stuff immune to Gravity and Bind.
In short for exp parties
1-55 sub whatever is needed in the party you're in. /whm if you're main healing, /blm if you're nuking, /rdm if you're not sure.
56-68 /whm so you can have access to stoneskin
68-75 /rdm so you can be more versatile.

1-10: /PUP. Don't argue... Just do it. The puppet demolishes low level mobs. It turns the horrible 1-10 experience that most mages have into something fun and quick.
10-40: /BLM if nuking or /WHM if healing. Your choice here. Neither offers MUCH until 20 anyway.
40-56: /RDM. If you're nuking, MAB and Fast Cast. If you're healing, en-spells and Fast Cast. /WHM offers only -nas without light addendum. If you're healing, light addendum will probably be up anyway. After you hit 40, you should probably never /BLM again. It just doesn't offer enough.
56-68: /WHM for healing, /RDM for nuking or soloing. Once you get access to gravity, /RDM will be the staple solo subjob. /WHM at this point gives stoneskin which is the single greatest healing tool you have.
68-75: /RDM with /WHM and /DRK being extremely situational. There are some situations where curaga rather than accession-cure is necessary. For those situations, /WHM. There are times when stun is necessary (and SCH is a MONSTER stunner). For those times, /DRK. For everything else, /RDM.

20-40 is for MAB trait from /blm. I just want to point that out for our readers.
at 75 i will sub rdm unless told, if you need the extra stun sure but I hate being paper.
I do not see the point of /whm at 75 unless you are trying to be funny with 1400-1580~ AOE cures in campaign.
