Happy New Year Event (2010) Tiger NPC's, etc.

I was wondering if anyone had any clues on what we have to do? I've tried trading (1 Fire Crystal XD) the little Taru running with the Tigers and Galka, but he didn't say or give me anything. I would have done more testing, but I was in the middle of rushing back to town since a friend had to log off soon. So far there is no info on Wikipedia nor here so, I figured we might as well start a thread and get some testing in so we can help out all the other adventurers
