First you have this weird cloud formation in Russia last october.


Then in Norway, this "Phenomenon " occurred.

Failing to launch missiles, they admitted then denied this. Air traffic warnings were issued stating missile tests would be in progress the night it happened. Something to do with the rocket fuel escaping as their flawed vodka-powered missiles saw two Earths and decided to just give up.

Both were logically explained, the first being a sort of optical illusion based on the driver's POV, and the latter was a failed missile launch. To answer your question, the Russians are 'up to' being Russian, as usual. Nothing new.
