To sum it up: Fenrir is just alot of ganking, mostly people who are out for a good time rather than to win the match (not saying thats bad). I notice lately alot of people who don't score and that's why most matches are one sided because you either have the score whores all on one side, or you had liquidswords LS all on one side. I also notice alot of people in liquidswords don't attack each other if they don't have to. Also a few players like to force themselves on the same team (Clubark[SAM/RNG] and Midgetmac[COR]) which sometimes ruins the matches. Other people will just will run in, hit you, run away for a whole 10-15 TP. I'm not saying Fenrir ballista isn't fun, but if you're looking for teamwork you might as well go somewhere else.

Just a reminder, Riousan was chosen because Riou wasn't available on Fenrir. Riou is the original name from the Suikoden II series. Many die hard fans of that game know that name especialy among Jp players.

To answer to the poster above, the biggest PvP server is Fenrir, Lakshmi, and Siren. Siren, however, focuses on the ballista activity primarily with lv 60 cap. Siren hardly ever has activity for uncap but in some cases there can be when it's at the right time for both Jp players and Na players to join at the same time.

Siren and Fenrir appears to have some connections. There are these players and a linkshell group that dominates the activity of ballista with the association with Jp players as well. Of those Ls's there are Liquidswords and Fabulous Ls. Ironicly enough, you can find most of those members now on Fenrir (see Ryolen and Sinistralx on ffxiah. They are both the same with the same jobs and races) who continue to form or call upon their old members to dominate ballista activity.

What bothers me though the two Ls and the Jp Ls of Ganballistar (see this thread) http://killingifrit....listar-warning/

Now, what they do is constantly get Ballista cheverons and ballista record bust to impress one another. They consistantly go after gold titles that they prefer of their own members or friends to continously be kept obtaining instead of outside of players. I don't know what happened to the old Ls of Fenrir, but Ryolen and his Ls really ruined it for me and others. But in all in honesty, they talk about what I've done durring in ballista but they don't bother sharing what they've done. Ironicly enough, they continue to insult each other from Ls's like Liquidsword, Pokemon, and even Paradox. Funny enough, Ryolen insults the relic users calling them weak or "got a relic and still can't beat me" against 1 and his crusade (occasionaly 3 or 4 people cover him since he's a low hp taru).


I've no longer player FFXI anymore and dropped all connections with Final Fantasy XI other than reading the improvement and reference with FFXIV. I made my announcement after Christmas that I had quitted and shared my treasures and gil with Blueprint and a few of my close friends who would put to good use than with me instead of tossing it or forgetting about it. I've quit the game, so please leave me be any reference related with Final Fantasy XI. I finished the game, had my fill, and there is nothing else. I'm glad I've quitted and continue to prolong my activity with other rpg games on consoles rather than wasting on the same game that had no progression but rather a delusional effort for Square Enix to make an endless cycle of their "end game" activity. But in reality, what is "end game" and when does it ever done?

I've quitted, Ryolen and their Ls wins, so leave me be. Someday someone will complain about what they do sooner or later and even be banned for what they do. I've updated the use of Retrace that Unclegreen leaked out on his admittancec to using it while being in an alliance from the opposite side of my party. Notice it cannot be used in Alliance, yet it CAN be only while in ballista is in effect. I've added this reference on wikipedia of main page ffxi.


Thanks for ruining an RPG that I enjoy so much from the other series. You've set me free from this insanity of domination of "honor" and "loyalty" that you fellow high anarchy players messed with me over the years. To my friends I wish you many years of good health and continuing enjoyment in other RPG games aside from FFXI. I hope of my friends set themselves as the true example of real players that focuses Final Fantasy XI as a game enjoyment and not as a business.

lol @ liquidsword members avoid/helping e/other. As one of them i can tell you right now if anything its the opposite. We go for each other. LS debates all the time/has the occasional dio and is pretty much a chat room

After going to Fenrir and actually joining Liquidswords I can completely agree with poby that the whole "LS doesnt attack its own members etc." is complete BS. As a neutral source coming from another server with no connections to any of the players on this server or anything I can tell you its completely opposite. The LS as a whole is very competitive and wont hesitate to prove whos better or who can do the most dmg to said person during a match. Of course some of the members are friends with each other but thats what makes the competition even that much more because your not only trying to beat just some random person, but someone that youve known for a long time. I can also say after getting a mythril chevron the first series of matches that ive done on the server, (which I didnt plan on since I havent ballista'd in about 2 yrs but nonetheless) is not "dominated" by any LS.

The JP still do 60 caps. as for NA's im one of the few left. kinda miss 1v1's in the diorama.
