You're assuming everyone using bots are bad people. It's naive to believe that even if these people here decided, one day, that botting was bad that everyone would stop botting. If they were to give it up based on moral values, they would never claim anything ever again, because of that one guy that decided to continue using them. As sad as it is (it definitely sucks), they're forced to use bots. They simply will not get anything done otherwise.
people can bot wotg hnm now??

You are missing the the opinion that I am stating. I never suggested we all hold hands and throw down the bots, I said we keep this an issue. We don't keep botting an issue and everyone is all dandy about it then what will SE care at all to fix the damn problem. There always has to be some opposition to this or nothing will get resolved. No reason not to unless you are "those" like I stated that gloat about their bots and only care about their damn greed.

The irony is that making the instances or force-spawns could also technically make them too easy. Maybe? Then again, is camping really hard? It's just annoying. Feh, anyways, this won't be fixed. It'll likely be a problem in XIV, as well. I know it's definitely a problem in every MMO I've ever been on.

doubt it, if you were offered a bot you'd more than likely take it and not tell anyone.
And your reasoning being? Not everyone has the same mentality as you.
How do people like this current system? You seriously like sitting in one spot afking when you wanna play just to camp a stupid NM? If it's forced popped or instanced it will be a lot more fun. Ton of people already have the gear from Einherjar and the like and other good alternatives so rarity of these items is not an issue anymore. If the easiness of it is an issue just beef up the NM, there already people saying how easy it is to kill these so why not increase their difficulty.

you act like all i do is camp NMs....lol. I used to be against botting, but once i found out how much i gained, i damn well took it and began using it. like kap said, bots are about money, if people want their e/m/a/w. bodies they can get them from odin

You assume most bots are something omnipotent and all seeing/all claiming, which is simply wrong.
The defeatist mentality of "oh I'll never claim that NM, too many people bot" will ensure that you'll NEVER claim the NM because YOU never tried. But then you ask "What about instanced battlefields?!" Well, they already exist, they are called Einherjar and Salvage. These are alternative events that already exist which any average joe can easily participate in for a PITTANCE OF EFFORT OR GIL.
Salvage requires expert communication skills and coordination of a small number of players combined with CONSTANT EFFORT to bear fruit.
Einherjar requires the players and leaders to adapt to various scenarios and coordinate strategies, some times on the fly.
Sounds like some cool covert-ops shit, huh?
But hey... wait a second... a lot of people in HNMLSs ALSO DO THOSE EVENTS. It's like they've got something... some driving force.... now what's the word... ah, yes, MOTIVATION. Whether they bot or not is beside the point, they were motivated enough to go out there and get claim and fight the monsters. Many of these very same people are also successful in those other events too because they've played the game in and out and more-likely-then-not know their shit.
You wish to fight hard monsters in instanced scenarios? Well they're already there! But I guarantee you that over half of the players and new "start up" LSs you send into those instances, let alone HNM camps, will fail miserably because:
1. They don't research.
2. They don't prepare.
3. They don't listen.
Small start up linkshells don't just die because they can't get claim, it's because they: overestimate their abilities, underestimate their opponents, and fail to act in a party dynamic that is essentially the CORE PRINCIPLE of Final Fantasy XI.

And you assume that all linkshells that complain about botting are small time start upts and you are wrong. My ls currently does Einherjar and Salvage.... so you are saying we should be "motivated" and buy a bot if we wanna participate in the other content? Fuck you, everyone should have an equal chance at it. Man, don't pretend, goodluck claiming against bots and wasting 3hrs there for NOTHING every time. I and many others have tried a lot of times.

Never said you needed to buy a bot to enjoy end game content, you're an idiot. Salvage Dynamis ZNM SCNM Limbus Sky Sea BCNM KSNM Sandworm, Dark Ixion, Tiamat, Cerberus, Khimaria can all be enjoyed without the use of bots. I have camped vs bots and WoTG NM, its not that hard to beat if you dont suck and have people who are dedicated...you cant claim all the time..

think you're like, the 100th person to ask me that, congrats. Did you REALLY just do {Do you need it?} you realize that you look like a fool for doing that? Anything you say from here on out is moot, null and void, cause you bring nothing more to the table than "LOL BOTTING IS WRONG YOU ARE A BAD PERSON FOR BOTTING OMG OMG OMG BOTTING IS RUINING THIS GAME FOR ME BECAUSE THEY PEOPLE WONT STOP BOTTING SO I CANT GET GEAR THAT I HAVE NEVER EVEN TRIED CAMPING BEFORE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"

Maybe if you're so upset with people telling you you're wrong, you should just, you know, take it and stop defending a practice that's always going to get this reaction from the people that aren't willing to compromise their integrity. Seems like the people who were so condescending with their "everybody does it, so it's ok for me to do it" attitude, have devolved into their base forms as scrubs shouting "cry more".

what makes you think im upset...lol? all you guys do is cry because you dont claim ^^ not my fault you sit around and don't even try to camp shit..clearing darters is hard amirite?

Didn't hit my nerve. I love monopolizing the things non-botters can't claim, only to sell it to them for absurd amounts of money to fund relic weapons.
