I must have missed the part where the new NMs for synergy drops were really HNMs and thus related at all to this topic.

Do I need to point out how replacing instance content with instance content has no net change before you point out that one of the t0 Synergy synths replaces JoP?

Feel free to take shots at the new Shadow Lord gear replacing Shadow Ring/Mantel as well, before anyone has tested to see if they stack, that is. Though still a pointless argument since I'm fairly sure you don't camp Dynamis - Xarc. They do replace some Abjurations though, but I doubt you go to a NPC in Ru Lude Gardens to ask about the Shadow Lord [S].

The new HNM's were the crab, vampire, dragon etc. It tells you to talk to a NPC in Jeuno, like I said, "IF" idk at this point cause I am still waiting for my damn server to come up. Don't get so defensive, I do dynamis every week twice and we do Xarca a lot so that statement is false. Also those items have nothing to do with HNM's due to fact you can't exactly bot dynamis lord....

Force popped NMs (call them HNMs if you must) that don't replace any HNM gear still have nothing to do with anything.
I didn't mean you don't do Dynamis, I meant you don't camp it, as in against other people.

Not really, you were trying to say I was gonna say something about the new shadow lord gear replacing gear that comes from dynamis which isn't bottable, didn't say anything about that in any of my posts. From day one this game was not fair.
All HNMs were always claimed by the JP Linkshells.
The fact that
1. The JP had the game for at least a full year before the NA. That worked wonders for them. By the time we reached DA for the first time, the JP Linkshells were gearing their 2nd 75s and selling BB items. This was in 2004!
2. The Latency issues meant the JPs always claimed. Or so we all thought. Turns out they were botting WAY before the letters "B O T" were ever typed in English on any server
3. There were several NPC glitches where you could buy from one NPC something for 1k, and then trade it into another NPC for 5k. The JP abused it, and it wasn't till the NA caught that it was changed.
A lot of glitches were kept in the game until the NA figured it out and enjoyed the benefits. Like 4k Chi Blasts to kirin by hoping on the porter and it reseting your Boost cooldown to 0.

SE forced the NA community to react with bots. WTF? Did they think people were gonna pay 75$ for a game, and then 12$ a month and spend all that time leveling up to be schooled by a bunch of monopolizing JP?

Ask anyone who has played this game for more than 6 years what it was like back then. JPs used to get their dicks sucked and were refered to as 1337 shit because they could claim everything. The second the playing field was leveled was the second the JPs slowly saw their Linkshells demise into the worthless shells they are today.

Making a system that favours those who cheat wrong? FUCK YES

You want to play FFXI and get the gear you D E S E R V E?
Then join an LS that uses a bot and promotes it. Otherwise enjoy the other content. I for one, won't fight a loosing battle, especially when the makers of the game don't give a flying fuck themselves.

DAT miners can't determine where every piece of gear comes from, it only shows the new gear added, the rest is speculation. Nice touch with the "faggoted memory" shows your intelligence, you must be like 11 years old right? I see plenty of awesome gear added with this update, new torques to replace ele+enhancing, new -pdt earring -mdt back peice, SL gear is very nice, Magian weapons are amazing.

You can easily work out where gear comes from in most cases. People could tell where most of the new good gear came from in minutes (Alex/Odin fight, Synergy, etc) based on names etc. It's not speculation when it's glaringly obvious where they'll come from.

Even if the do just add more instance events, they've been doing that for years now anyway and HNMs are still as camped as they were. Infact, since your issue was with people being unfairly forced out of content, just having them replaced is a stupid idea anyway, so what if you can solo them, again, go look at King Arthro.

Fun thing I heard about VNMs. Apradar works for finding them! Lets bring that topic up again!

I can't control what SE does, but yes I will agree that adding new content that replaces the old doesn't exactly fix the problem but it can prevent it for the future. If people are able to participate in all content in the future then that will be fine by me. Who knows what could happen, it is possible that the gear will become obsolete within those 20 something levels and nobody does current HNM much anymore. I don't know this for fact and neither do you, obviously it can be assumed that some things will be replaced eventually due to the nature of the game. Look at this current update, a lot of weapons were replaced by the new gear that came out. Perdu sickle to name one of them, we don't know what the future will be for the game atm.

Also LOL @thread on BG. Honestly thought it would end the same way this one did but I see that people actually know how preventing others from content is something that is unfair. Not bot loving huggers like you people here.
