I'm not asking for proof that bots exist, I'm asking for the same proof you're asking of everyone who stumbles into this thread: their claim rates, which you continue to dismiss.
If they're that much of a problem, do exactly as you're demanding of others. Post their absurdly high claim rates. Clearly nobody without bots ever claims, so you must know exactly each time one wins a claim, right?

anyways if people think botting is ok and SE really does not do much to combat it, i guess they accpet it, they should of had more business sense to sell the bots them selfs and make weekly NM pops.

I don't think it's really the fact that the "accept" it rather than their sub-par design on HNMs and little they can do to monitor it unless you designate a GM to watch over every HNM as it spawns across every server. It's just one of those things that are hard to monitor. The only solution I see is to make them popped but then someone would find a loophole there such as monopolizing the items that pop them.

If you think botting is what is keeping players from accessing certain parts of endgame, you havent been playing long enough.

For years the Japanese completely dominated the HNM scene, with the servers located in Japan, their ping is alot lower than most. If you camped back in 2004/2005 you know exactly what im talking about watching a mob pop purple day in and day out..and what did SE do about it? absolutely nothing.

It wasnt untill memory bots like Mrargus and the like to got into the hands of the NA players, within 3 months SE changed the entire claiming system. Now you do have a very good chance to claim against botters, and japanese, THANKS to people botting. I have been in multiple Linkshells with people who bot and didnt bot, I myself have botted, on our server we were the first NAs to get a chance to take on the JP HNMLS', and since the claim update of Aug 05 (I think it was 05) there was really no need to have to have a bot in order to even have a chance of claiming, its not hard to make a macro for magic or provoke with /wait 1...And it isnt hard to learn which claiming methods to use at what camp.

as it has been brought up time and time again, yes bots are against the ToS, so is the windower...

people still bot today because its the assumption that EVERYONE bots, and that you HAVE to have one in order to claim, if you have been in an HNMls, chances are at least one person in your LS has used a bot at one point or another, and you know what? You will see even the botters are outclaimed by their own members.

Just because the Government tells you something is wrong and you shouldnt do it, do you beleive them without question?

theres a reason why people dont ask "I wonder what cool things SE is going to add in this update"...instead you see "I wonder what they are going to fuck up this time"
