To actually answer the OP: The ability to auto-notify these NMs is hardly a new development, FFXI-APP had it implemented way before Maury pulled the plug so it's safe to assume it's replacement has the same system. It still doesn't change much, any LS serious about claiming/killing SW/Ixion should have people covering each zone regardless of their stance on botting.

Not to condone this, but I missed the part where using the CFH function is against ToS.


I can't speak for WoTG NMs but from experience I can say that camping something like fafnir, behemoth, or adamantoise isn't all that challenging when it comes to claim even against bots. Playing on a PS2 and briefly camping them to claim and pass them off to a LS in exchange for my BB items I made several claims with well known botters in the vicinity. (Though Admittedly they were mostly NQ Behemoths, 1 King Behemoth, and some NQ Turtles on Day4+.) So claiming their invincibility definitely makes no sense. I won't deny it'd increase their claim rate though. But if you have people who are paying attention and understand the delay between when you can claim after it pops and their average ping then it'll highly increase your chances. The only reason I mention these is Faf had been brought up earlier in the thread, my apologies for jumping off the original subject/purpose of the thread.

CFH is against the ToS if you are wiping to a mob, and there are other linkshells in the vicinity. cause CFH'ing is technically considered "grief tactics" cause you're cockblocking another ls from getting a mob while you recover
