Pretty much.. But I was also thinking something like "Let's sell a game to a population of people who are already playing it and don't really need it but with an autograph on it." Like selling a car to someone who has the exact same car they have already, except it's signed by the owner of the company of the cars maker. And new players aren't familiar enough with the makers of the game to probably even care.

I wonder what ever happened to SE making more real life products packaged with in-game bonuses? I think they kind of flopped after the retardedly expensive dog tags that offered nothing in-game. Though I still wanna get that chocobo they offered..
