If i need to lolreath spell most likey i will be on a different job, I am looking/ wondering if that extra str and vit can compare when it has no def on it. I know on stuff like vert cleave and the muli hits i would prob put money on maats but im wondering for cannonball builds

That depends on your support and current build really. I would say if you aren't getting def songs and don't reach at least the base target Def without food, but with buffs then you'll probably see Gnadbolds or Anwig do better than maat's for cannonball. Also, if you are scoffing at the use of breath spells then maybe you don't know the proper situation to use them in, or it just sucks to be you and you get stuck on other jobs. Point of the matter is until extensive testing is done can't say Mirage is worth more than it's weight with breath spells at this point. Additionally, since I don't have maats cap to do the testing on that piece, this is just pure speculation on my part based off the formula for CB dmg and personal experience with pieces I do have. I suggest you take it with a grain of salt until you can test it yourself.
