Alky, or Plutos staff for Aspir and Drain. which is better, prove it and tell me why please.
I personally do not think +20 Magical Acc and 10 INT(converted into magical acc amount) will outperform the +15% Magical Acc Increase Pluto's staff has to offer.
I do not know how to affix equations, so if someone would be able to settle a dispute me and a LS mate are having, I'd really appreciate it.
Sorry for this post, too as I bet there has been debates about this in the past, as well. Because the only thread that gave me enough for info to rely on(wasnt reliable enough for this matter) was this thread: http://killingifrit....1
Thanks in advance!

Mostly a moot argument, because the Dark/Pluto's Staff adds potency to Drain and Alkaurops doesn't.

Any debate where it showed this? Cause I am debating rather Alk > Plutos, for Aspir/Drain on High End mobs like HNM/Ultima/TOAU HNM/other high level NMs.
Potency added to Drain? As in the amount absorbed? Thought Aspir/Drains usually come out random, even with all the best dark skill gear. Could aspir for 15-50 one time and 150 the next.
Thanks J~

They aren't 100% consistent like elemental magic, but they're far from random. In general non-resists will be within a certain range, then 1/2 resists will be about half that. Resists below 1/2 are hard to detect because their ranges are so close to the 1/2 range, so I just think of the resist tiers as as Non-resist, Resist, and "wow, I barely got my 10MP back."

INT as far as we know does not help dark magic.
the staff is a failed attempt of SE not not knowing their game to replace lol level 51 gear.
I will find it very amusing when all the magic jobs would be still using level 51 staffs at 99 because they are still the best.
What are you asking poof on? the staff does add 15% damage, there was a thread a while ago talking about some cap since you are more likely to hit it in dyna using a dark obi. Nerull knows more about that issue then I do.
I do not think any magic job uses this staff for anything due to the elemental staffs hidden effects.
NQ:
+10% damage to corresponding element, -10% to opposing.
hard to prove magic acc, we like to assume it is 10%
-2 prep cost to corresponding element, +2 opposing
HQ:
15% damage to corresponding element, -15% to opposing
hard to prove magic acc , we like to assume it is 15%
-3 prep to corresponding element, +3 to opposing.
there was a thread a while ago made on the rdm forum about wrish saying the staffs did not have acc for nukes but it had it for enfeebling, or something like that.
someone that rebuttled him nuked without a staff then nuked with one, and magically it worked out to having 15% less resists.
dark spells do random but everytime you cast a 130 aspir in that PoS thing, you would had 149 in Pluto's.
The memory I have is scary , even after leaving i remember stuff like this ( PS i still hate the new KI search)

I think the issue with people with this staff or that MAB staff is that bigger numbers look better.
when you math it you end up getting:
15%> 30 MAB
15% > 20 magic acc.
