I killed the final boss in about two shots with my M-920 Cain. Good game, but I wish it was longer and had less scanning for minerals.

Just finished tonight also. (Still got fucking Mordin's song in my head D:<)
Holy crap! I missed a couple things so ended up losing legion + Mordin, but oh well D: There's always another playthrough ;)
I was freaking out a little at the screen all the way through the last boss... it was a bit creepier than I'd have liked, freakin kudos to Bioware. I disliked the look of the boss so much I didn't miss a shot! haha.
Kinda ticked I forgot to upgrade the baby-nuke (Mcain homefry <3) so I was hopping barriers with my particle cannon-thing (I love my technical terms! e_e)
I felt the story was pretty rushed, the 'revelation' at the end wasn't one of those "le-gasp!" type ones, like when you bumped into vigil for example... it left a lot of stuff clouded like I still had half the game left to go and in a video-game that ticks me off a bit e_e. I like story, I love depth, but I hate only being able to see half the picture. (hi@u illusive man D:<)

Enough of my ranting,
Ali, gl with getting it all working D: !!

PS- @ 360 players (inB4 lol360): Did anyone else notice there was a few bugs? namely when you were taking cover and you'd find yourself stuck 'in' a wall etc? Not sure if this is just local to the 360 version or if there were PC bugs as well, but I found it annoying to restart parts of missions after glitching out like that and being unable to move D:.

PC has some bugs, too. I remember 3 or 4 points where I ran through a door r accidentally into a wall, and would get sucked up into the ceiling and get stuck there.

Glad that wasn't only me. It really sucked when that happened and had to start back 15-20 minutes in the game.

As for the length of the game, BioWare has already said they are going to be putting "a lot" of DLC into the game. So hopefully that will hold us over for uhh...2 years till Mass Effect 3? Haha

The view on my 360 would freeze, so that no matter which way I was moving I would face straight.

have had 1 freeze on a loading screen over about 50 hours of play on 360, so they did a decent job that time for me. Now Dragon Age Origins on PC? That shit was buggy as hell and still is for me.

DA:O pissed me off with its bugs, -especially- that friggen memory leak (and I don't think there is a fix for it yet, though I can't say I've actively searched for a while)
Though I loved the game, there was a lot of stuff that needed to be fixed. x_X

I'm hoping that with ME2 they're not gonna charge you for a lot of the content, it ticks me off when they release what feels like a half-finished game and then say "Well you can haz moh storeeee..... for $50!"
Some people say I'm cheap, I prefer the term Cost Effective! :P

Think it'll be like Dragon Age, where small portion content is free and large expansions will cost money.

The new Mako sure as fuck better be free. Never thought I'd miss that piece of shit but without it there seems to be a complete lack of any real sense of exploration in Mass Effect 2.

Damn you, Bioware... I really wanted to see Tali's face. ; ; Well, this romance scene was very good, but...

Spoiler

EDIT:

By the way, which squad members you sent for the suicide mission?

My setup:
Tech = Legion
2nd Leader = Garrus
My two squad members (including the final boss battle too) = Tali and Jack
Bubble = Samara
Escort = Jacob

All squad members survived, except Jack. She was loyalty, but when Miranda and Jack were arguing, I didn't have enough charm to answer the blue one, so I chose Miranda. Jack became un-loyalty.

Yeah, at least we got a good ending. There are four different endings I heard.

I don't think it'll let you import a dead character. I'm pretty sure I heard something about only being allowed to import saves of a Shepard that lives through the ending.

My quick two cents though:

I loved the story. It was fucking great, much better than the first. However, the lack of exploration was depressing, mining for minerals made me drowsy on multiple occasions, and what the fuck is up with the ship needing fuel all of a sudden? Fuck your couch, I don't wanna fill up.

Oh, and the lack of money in the game was annoying. Every quest completed, and I couldn't buy everything. Fuuuuuuuuuuuck you.

The only known issue I had (minus some graphical glitches) was the random resets/crashes of my computer which would occur at random intervals.

I know it was nothing to do with my computer as its got some top of the range equipment. Added to this I also know it was not overheating as the computer core parts were averaging at most of 30 - 35 degrees.

You need stupidly high Paragon to settle the differences between them both. I was nearly at top of the range paragon levels but you have to have maxed out paragon to do this shit. What I didn't understand was that you could settle Tali and Legions issues there and then on the spot.

I had:

Tech - Legion
Group 2 - Samara
Bubble - Jack
Escort - Zaeed
Final Boss - Garrus and Tali

Legion ended up dieing via getting shot through the crack in the door, which confused me, as I saw no problem in the way I had things. (All Normandy Upgrades, all of my members were loyal, etc.) But meh, I sent him knowing he was the only character that I had no actual "emotional" bonds with. Aside from that I'd say things did go well, and as I said before, the game is worth 11/10. Having a few tweaks here and there, like removing the episodic feeling of missions and the drought of money (as well as the lack of exploration; sure, the first game had mind-numbing Mako scenes, but can't we have a middle ground?) find their ways into ME3 will make the game that's already nearly perfect into gaming Nirvana. My .02~

I was a little saddened when I lost 2 members >< lol. I didn't use a game guide or anything (never do for the first playthrough hehe) so I may have missed something o_o;
Started last boss with all members loyal, all ship upgrades, not very far off max paragon (eek!)

Tech - Legion
Group 2 - Samara
Bubble - Samara
Escort - Grunt
Final Boss - Garrus and Thane

Lost both Legion and Mordin </sadface>

Gonna try again and hopefully not lose anyone -_o

Edit: I enjoy the scanning thing, gets tedious after a while, but mako driving was an art, especially landing on a planet as an ME newb and then getting eaten by a Thresher Maw. I loved the touch with the varying gravity, that was really fun (especially boost-jumping off the highest things you could find... Don't tell me you didn't do it too!)
I miss Omni-Gel! D:
I love the way the new armor system works, it was a real pain trying to fish through all the armor and weaps you picked up in ME1, deciding what to keep etc.

.....Does anyone else's fish keep dying? e_e....
Also, can I get a box of kleenex for Garrus and a crate of Midol for Jack.

I never figured out how to save that chick that checked your e-mails for you. I might play again so I have everyone alive and my entire crew saved. Love perfect good endings.

You on about Kelly Velhart? If so I think you have to go and save the pods they are in within a certain amount of time to be honest.

However it could also be something to do with the below part where although the loyalty mainly resists with the team members there are various conversations with certain members of the inflight team like Kelly and Joker.

This happens to everyone, when you get so far through the storyline and you have come across most of the conversation encounters with Kelly you will be given an option to have dinner with her in your quarters. Choose yes to this and after a few brief comments speak to her again, she wil mention that she noticed fish in your room and will feed them whilst you are on missions or the like.

This was my own group at the end:

Tech - Tali
Group 2 - Jacob
Bubble - Miranda
Escort - Zaeed
Final Boss - Miranda & Tali

Jack and Grunt died in the end, didn't really care to much to be honest as I never really used them to be honest.

I had about quarter of a bar left to go before getting max paragon but couldn't calm Jack down after the incident from doing Miranda's loyalty quest. Not to sure why Grunt died to be honest, had him loyal and did all his missions and spoke to him for the conversation dialogue.

Oh well either way I will go and get ME1, do a new game on that for the PC version and import it to ME2 and replay the game again and try and save everyone.

Everyone lived and I saved all of my crew from the pods. Everyone was loyal except Jack, you need 100% Paragon to persuade her and I was only like 95%~ when I gave up and went through the Omega Relay.
