I'm in the process of purchacing a new content ID for FFXI through POL on the PS2. It's currently the 30th of the month and I am looking for someone to hellp me understand how the billing will work. I understand there may be 30 days free to start and then the billing starts? Also I do not understand if I would be billed for the whole month of January if I signed up today or tomorrow, given there may not be a free 30 days? To further complicate things Febuary has only 28 days which would have the potential free 30 days run to the begining of March, no sure how that might affect billing?

Finally I last used this system 5 years ago so I am using my existing POL ID but have to get a new content ID.

If someone could help me sort out whether there is a free 30 days, and whether I should wait until the begining of Feburary to start would be of great help.

30 days from the time you activate it.

Also, only new accounts have the 30 day free trial. Re-activating an existing account does not count.

Is purchasing a new content ID concidered a new account?
