Hi guys

So back in September I stopped playing FFXI as a few of my friends convinced me to play Aion which was all good for a while but has now become quite boring!

I'm now considering reactivating my account but before I go through the whole Instillation I need to find out how this will work

Basically I didn't actually cancel my account properly, at the time i just lost my Debit Card and got a new one so I didnt bother updating the details on my account so payments would just stop as the payment information was wrong.

So if i was to log in now would they demand the 4 months subscrption fees before they would reactivate it?

If this is the case i'm screwed cos there is no way I'm going to pay that amount of money ...

I'm pretty sure they charged you the 4 months already since as soon as they dont recieve payment from 1 month, they will cancel the account.

So basically they cancel my account after 1 month of non payment ... how can they have charged me already if they don't have any working payment details from me?

Can anyone clarify they cancel your account after 1 month of non payment?

They don't cancel your account "after" a month of non-payment, they cancel your account "before" you can start playing in the new month if they can't charge your card. When you reactivate your account you won't get charged then. They will prorate (I think they prorate) the time left in the month that you reactivated and add it to the charges for the next full month at the start of that next month. So it will "look" like you're being charged for 2 month, but you're just actually paying for the time you were already playing and for the upcoming month. Month by month you're not paying for what you've played...but for what you're going to play. That's the reason when you cancel your content ID's (not delete the ID's) so that you are deactivating your account, you can continue to play on all those characters till the end of the month. You've already paid for it.
