So my group is prepping to do the final ASA fight either later today or tomorrow, and I was wondering if this was a viable strategy.

We have a sam, an apoc drk, a kraken drk, two whms and a brd. The general strategy with this mission seems to be pulling away b. shantotto while we kill d. shantotto. From what I read on various testimonials, souleater damage does not get resisted. If this is the case, having 5100 hp to zerg d. shantotto with a kraken club seems like it would be painfully easy. I was wondering if this is at all possible, or will D. Shantotto use something that will completely screw up the zerg? Keep in mind that each hit from a kraken club at that hp would do about 600 damage. If this worked, then we would switch to b. shantotto and kill her while the sam and possibly the apoc drk two hours.

Sorta doubt it'd work. The more HP a Failtotto loses the more resistant to damage they seem to become, and then you also need to put up with their AoE attacks which can probably kill your DRKs off real easy if they go off.

Ive almost succeeded in zerging with Whm Whm Brd Drg Samx2 (one had relic)
only reason we failed was because we tried to kill B shantotto first and ended up eating double meteor after that we killed one but timed out on second
after that I Smn Burned and won easy

SMN burn is best way to go, not only will your dmg reach 0 when she goes to invincible mode, she will wreck you up fast when they 2hr.
