if anybody sucked @ FFXI, it was me. took me like 20 tries to finally quit.

as far as Leik is concerned, i've seen numerous people who left BotD become targets of accusations and negative comments, so not even gonna bother trying to defend him because it's "loldrama" that isn't necessary.

Leik is trying to say goodbye to friends and the people he got along with. if you aren't 1 of them, you have no place in this thread so gtfo.

I know what you mean Blev, i saw it a number of times too.
I do have a question for you though Blev: did you play on a comp, and if you did, did you have any problems trying to uninstall it? I try to uninstall it from the Control Panel, but everyday it still shows up there.

Perhaps because they deserved the negative attention? A lot of people who leave linkshells on bad terms will have a history following them tbh.

I love WKC now its a ton of fun XD. I am just at the beginning, yeah the story doesn't pull me in that much :/ but i LOVE the online play. Its like a mix of .hack and ffxi, very awesome. I also don't like the skill progression for the other characters in story mode , you can't redistribute their points? >.< I hate having to min/max shit and if you mess up with 1 point you cant get that perfect build. ATM I am a mage build lol, got a staff and trying to go all magic or w/e idk how that will work out for me, doing staff and elemental magics. My game thing is Immortal_Draylo.

I've managed to give up FFXI for about 5-10 months at a time before being sucked back in. Smoking? I lasted two days.

I don't understand people who play video games they treat as unmitigated addictions. A game like that would be so burdensome that I would never consider playing it. I play FFXI (if I could ever get the damn thing working on my new computer!) because I enjoy it, even if 90% of the people who made it really fun have quit.

Agree 100%. Nothing pisses me off more than the retards shouting in WG about how the game either A) sucks or is addicting. Don't fucking play it then. It's a game not a responsibility, it's supposed to be fun.
